Nona's Diner — Restaurant in Allen Park

UPDATE: 5/15/23 Server was polite, place was empty. Food came fast, but I hate to say it..this place really went downhill. My daughter ordered a burger and chili cheese fries, the cheese was that yellowey translucent stuff that nobody really likes, but other than that hers was fine, it's hard to screw up a burger. The Meatloaf.. USED to be one of thier best dishes..im afraid my portion was left over from the previous week, as it was so soft, it was almost slimey. So a meatloaf dinner, a burger and chili cheese fries and one coney..that was $50. Does that sound right? Not to me, I almost went for the perch dinner when I seen the price was almost $18. Seriously... prices are WAY too high for what your getting. Its too bad.. used to love this place, it's only a matter of time until they close when it's empty like this, and now I know why.

We went in for lunch . My boyfriend ordered a corned beef sandwich. He took one bite and spit it out. The meat was rubbery tasting. He said it tasted like a ham not corned beef. Told the waitress he didn't want the meal. She never took the meal off our bill. . So he paid for something they knew he did not eat . Then my wrap I asked for no tomatoes . And they were on it. They remade but I think all they did was pull out the tomatoes and the wrap was soggy when I got it back. No happy one bit. $50 for a meal we didn't eat 😞

This was Saturday I believe. We sat right next to were they make the silverware up at the end of the bar . In the 1st booth. I know where we ate at It was there. Ask your waitress and Cooks they were all told about it. They remade my wrap because I asked for no .tomatoes . And I think they just took the tomatoes off and rewarded the same wrap. It was soggy

I had breakfast 🍳 🍳🍳here for the first time, the building caught my eye 👁 on the way to my dentist 🦷 appointment. The one thing I noticed was the large paved parking lot, and wheel chair accessible entrance. When I entered the restaurant I was immediately greeted with a friendly hello and g👀d morning from Kayla. The restaurant is spotless (very clean 🧽) I ordered (3) eggs 🥚 over easy with pork sausage links, hash browns and wheat 🌾 toast. The meal 🥘 was c👀ked to perfection. It was a delicious 😋 breakfast 🍳, but the special part of this was Kayla’s interaction with the patrons! She makes everyone feel welcome! This place reminded me of the Cheer’s TV 📺 Show where everyone knows your name! She is so friendly and helpful! 👍👍👍👍👍 The price’s are very reasonable! I went back last week with a friend to revisit this place and once again they did not disappoint me! Andrea waited on us my buddy ordered Meat 🍖 Loaf, and ordered eggs 🥚, Hash Browns 🥔and sausage...
