The top three reviews at the time of writing this are all contradictory. One says that the staff is very polite but the wait is long, the next says that the staff is very rude, and the one after that says that their food was ready quick. This just goes to show the staggering amount of employees that come and go through this business. McDonald's isn't a place that employees stay for very long usually, so you never know who you're going to get. However there is one thing you can always rely upon, thanks to higher standards across the board than years ago the food and drink tastes better and they generally always taste the same no matter which McDonald's you're at and this one is no different.
That consistency and knowing what you're in for is why you would choose McDonald's. For that reason this McDonald's gets 5 stars, if you've ever been to one then you know what you're getting regardless of which McDonald's you're at here in the U.S. In general the staff at this particular one are usually polite, usually quick, and usually get your order right. Yet, for your own sake, always take a few seconds to check that your order is, in fact, correct before you drive off, leave the building with to-go, or start eating inside. People do make mistakes once in a while, after all!
03/2022 edit: Given I've been coming here regularly for years and have been using their app for about as long I can say with some certainty that if an order's wrong it's probably the person ordering it that had the issue, indeed it's very likely they just didn't speak clearly or ended up doubling back on what they were saying. Many people here don't speak very clearly and they tend to ramble or forget/add things randomly, I've seen it enough to know that's the biggest issue.
My orders are almost never wrong and on the very rare occasion they have been it's been something minor like a condiment on a sandwich when I asked for it not to be there. Yet, again, that's a very rare thing to happen. It happens at maximum once a year which, I feel, is more than excusable. I've come here during rushes, I've come here during slow periods, even when no one else was here. Heck I've ordered things when there was a huge drive through line and nowhere to park!
The people do well and do their best to get orders right and on time. Things happen, yet, generally, years of experience have taught me that if an order's wrong it's best to check your receipt as it's...
Read moreI visited McDonald's tonight at roughly 8:00 PM, leaving at 8:50 PM.
Their drive-through sign is damaged. Service took 40 minutes before they even acknowledged we were in the drive-through lane. It then took another 10-15 minutes to deliver a partial, incorrect order: they missed my tea and the Daily Double I received was a sloppy, lukewarm mess. The employee working the window was snotty about it, acting as though we were inconveniencing him.
Also I still got charged for that tea.
No one offered an explanation for the entire forty-minute wait, despite three employees being visible. Three separate cars drove off during this time. Someone new needs to manage this franchise; this is awful for what used to be a decent McDonald’s. I can only imagine how much business they are losing, potentially driving customers to the overnight staff at other local places because the service is this consistently bad.
I don't like writing bad reviews, but people need to know this place is actively aiming for bad service. There is no excuse, and this isn't the first time I've run into this behavior. Go anywhere else. If you need McDonald's that badly, drive 50 minutes in any direction to get...
Read moreWhen we are traveling out of town, there is a McDonald's that we usually stop at, but thw last 3 times we have been there, the lunch/supper food has been not good at all. Fries are past their hold times, 10:1 is usually dry and past holding time. I got a sausage bagel this morning and the top bun was st burnt I had to take it off and throw it away. I couldn't go back up to the counter as this was a drive-thru order and didn't start eating until I was about 5 miles down the road. My sweet tea was awful as well. I took a couple of drinks and had to spit it back into the cup. It was tea, but tasted like it was last weeks tea with lemonade, or something else in it. I dumped it out as soon as I got to a stopping point on my trip. Hash browns were mediocre, at best. Those were at least 8 to 10 minutes past their holding time. Two bites into semi-warm hash browns and that was spit back into a napkin and put back into the bag, using it as a trash bag. I will give it a year before I eat at that location again, as there are other options close by. How many years will it be before their lobby fountain machine will be operational again? It has already...
