Serendipity Frozen Custard & Doughnuts — Restaurant in Alma

Our family of 4 has been coming here for over a year, now. We are completely hooked on this amazing frozen custard. With all the options for adding flavors, toppings, and other extras to your dessert, you surely won't be running out of options of flavor-topping-doughnut-custard combinations any time soon!! Our family has tried several different flavors and combinations, and they are all so yummy! Lana, the owner, has 3 display cases filled with tempting sweets that you won't find anywhere else! There are several flavors of nobake cookies including lemon, cheesecake, pistachio, and more! Lastly, if you get a chance to taste her chocolate covered strawberries, take it! The surprisingly affordable treats are amazing! Hands down, the best chocolate covered strawberries I've ever had!

And if all this wasn't enough, Lana is truly an excellent business owner- she is kind, she remembers who you are and what you like to order. She goes the extra mile almost every time we are there. Lana also generously donates to the local schools and other charities in town. We are so thankful that Lana chose Alma for her business, and we sincerely hope she stays for...

While the custard tasted great, the portion was TINY. I got the smores custard and it was less than a 1/4 cup of custard, a quarter sized dollar of "hot fudge" aka chocolate syrup and some Graham cracker dust. Definitely not worth it for nearly 6 dollars.

Edit to reply; there has been several complaints regarding portion sizes, mine is not the first. While I understand rising food costs etc, there are many ice cream places in town offering more for less. The presentation was lacking. You have a great product- but a tiny dollop of syrup underneath about 5 spoonfuls of custard with actual Graham cracker sand is not the move...

What a delightful place! A small group of us stopped in today after doing the "Barre Above" class at the Pine River park ❤️ A young lady "Gemma" waited on us. She was so nice, smiled, discussed all the different stuff they offer, even gave us a sample of the freshly made custard (DELISH). So much to choose from, all of us were extremely impressed and loved our choices. I had the caramel apple toppings on the vanilla custard 😋
