Excellent food, terrible service, wonderful owner but his sister is awful. I have life threatening food allergies and when I asked if the wings had eggs she said no, after we paid and got the food I became aware that there was in fact eggs and that she had no way of knowing the ingredients since they threw out the container with the list. After discussing this with her I then decided to order something else and she did not give the new thing for free. It was her fault that she lied to me about the ingredients and now I have to pay for something that I dont really want. And she overcharged me. I've eaten many a sub in my day, and yet nothing can top Alpha Sub for the top spot. Maybe it's the bread, with a great crust, holds everything together, but still soft and chewy. Maybe it's the broccoli in the veggie sub, something you don't get at a chain spot. Maybe it's the portion, with a large sub filling me up for a day. Or maybe it's the side of perfect garlic knots. Whatever it is, it's working.

There is plenty more to choose from, and I've never had a bad meal in the decades I've been coming here. My mom swears by the tuna sub, and my sister is always happy with any of the pasta. I was in the area for the day and stopped here to grab a bite with the family before heading back to Pittsburgh. I am so glad I did. Everything was amazing!!!! The service was top notch, I got a buffalo calzone that was out of this world, my wife got a bruschetta pizza that was awesome and the steak sub my son got was also great.

Very friendly staff, a clean place and very family orientated. Price was about what you expect at a pizza place but the food quality was above a lot of places I have been to. Strongly recommend and will make the 5 hour trip again so when I do I'll stop by for that...
