My recent visit to Sharkys Wings & Raw Bar in Alpha, New Jersey, was nothing short of exceptional. From the mouthwatering appetizers to the warm, welcoming service, everything about this place screams excellence.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by our bartender/waitstaff, Justine, who would prove to be the shining star of our afternoon. Her friendly demeanor, coupled with her professional service, made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our entire visit.

The culinary journey began with an array of appetizers, each one more delicious than the last. The fried pickles, served with a tangy boom boom sauce, were crispy, flavorful, and an absolute delight to the palate. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were a creative twist on a classic and exceeded all our expectations in terms of flavor and presentation.

The Mac and cheese bites were the epitome of comfort food - crispy on the outside and filled with creamy, gooey macaroni and cheese on the inside. Each bite was a cheesy piece of heaven that left us craving more. The chicken quesadilla was another standout, with the perfect balance of tender chicken, melted cheese, jalapeno, and a beautifully crisp tortilla.

Every dish was served piping hot, testament to the kitchen's efficiency and their commitment to delivering top-notch food. The impressive speed didn't compromise the quality of the food, every bite was as perfect as we could have hoped for.

What truly set this experience apart was the genuine warmth and camaraderie radiated by Justine, our bartender. Her energetic personality and dedicated service added to the already charming atmosphere of the bar. She was not only efficient but also a joy to interact with, making our visit all the more enjoyable.

In conclusion, Sharkys Wings and Raw Bar in Alpha, NJ, is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food, excellent service, and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to my next visit and have no doubt that it will be as fantastic as the first. It's clear why this spot is a local favorite, and I can't...

I’m not the one for reviews at all but let me just say the OWNER is rude and unprofessional. My friend had a problem here and because of that i was Told the waitress she had a problem with was making up stuff as far as her throwing the menu and spilling a drink when in reality the waitress took the menu from her and she didn’t spill no drink so i called Her to tell her and she goes there to resolve the problem and rumors and we’re still on the phone, the owner then asks what was the waitress name and my friend said i don’t know and i said No (friends name) her name was sue and immediately the owner says “am i being Video surveillance “ and my friend explained no this is my friend who called me to tell me about the rumors going on and he then proceeds to say “well if you want to continue speaking to me hang up” like excuse me ??? I dont Know the owner but just the way he talked to my friend explains why his waitress service there is rude too so the point of this review is to say as an owner he was very unprofessional and definitely needs to learn respect and teach it too just by the way he talked makes me never wanna go out to eat there ....

My Daughter has Celiac disease, (diagnosed 16 years ago), this means that her life sustaining medications (thyroid hormone replacement rx) will not absorb its full dose for a total of three months or more should she ingest gluten, and it could be to the point where she has heart failure, so we take NO chances.

When I have eaten at Sharkeys without my Daughter, I did enjoy very delicious meals... HOWEVER, This place does NOT qualify as "gluten free" in any sense of the terms definition. They do have items that do not contain gluten, but they do not have a separate fryer and do not fully comprehend how dangerous cross contamination is. So no separate prep area, no changing gloves or aprons in prep for handling non-allergen items.

Note, for some who have celiac, they are asymptomatic, like my Daughter... this means that we get no warning, we just get worse case scenario right out the gate.

I pray those who are looking for a good meal at a decent price and a comfy atmosphere will visit Sharkeys (519) . But those with any special food needs either need to bring their own or not take chances relying on this kitchen to adequately...

The atmosphere wasn't themed very well didn't seem to go well together at all. There was ONE UNO waitresses in the whole place so it took a while to have our order taken. When it was taken I ordered lemonade and man let me tell you it really truly sucked. After sometime looking at the unnecessarily lengthy menu I had decided on Mac and cheese bites and Maryland fries. After I ordered those items I waited for quite a long time for my food. As I waited I tried to carry on a conversation but it wasn't easy at all. I sat drank my horrid lemonade as then my food arrived. It wasn't good by any means it was alright but it wasn't woooow that's good. It especially didn't earn or deserve the prices it had in the food (which was stupid pricey). Overall this place wreaked of cigarettes and disappointment. I would not recommend this unless you are absolutely in dire need of food and even then just go to like a China buffet or something man. ( It wasn't good btw). This was the first and last time I will ever be there.

I read a review on here about the Wednesday clambake special and how it was subpar and they price gouged because they charge $10 more to do take out on the special... well that person is wrong. This clambake is phenomenal. It’s also cooked to perfection every time I have it. I’m sure they are losing money on it. You get a full lobster, roasted clams, king crab legs, large shrimp and a piece of corn. It should cost about $65 or more. It’s a real shame that people write reviews that are so misleading. Go try it yourself; I know you’ll agree with me. Thanks Sharkey’s for giving your patrons a great Wednesday special that you can’t possibly be making a profit on.

I think it was a letdown to me only because people talked it up SOOO high. I didn't think it was THAT great. In all honesty, our kids' grilled cheese was the best thing in the table. I'm not saying the other food was bad. I'm really saying a simple grilled cheese was, for some reason, the best we'd ever had. No wonder my 18- month-old ate 1 1/2 sandwiches. It was very loud even though there were only a few other families there, making it hard for sensory-sensitive among us. Mahi wrap was so-so, which is what I had, but other members in our party loved their meals (salmon, black and Bleu burger, filet mignon sliders).
