Incredible have to stop place for anyone traveling Palisades Parkway like my family was when we went from Annapolis Maryland to Southern New Hampshire last August. For those that have never seen it it has an impressive scenic overlook of the Hudson river that allows views from what looks like Yonkers all the way into White Plains. Must be a least 2 or 300' feet above the Hudson river in some places along the scenic over looks. State line cafe is a really cool little cabin like structure originally Built-in 1937 according to the website. They serve all the typical lunch fare from BLT's to hamburgers and I thought the food was good and inexpensive. Cool little bookstore too, my wife got a book about ghost stories from the New York area. Everyone was friendly with a really funny unique outside New York City accent, can't miss spot, planning on stopping by again next week on our trip backup to...
Read moreAbsolutely Horrible Management. I attended a lovely Car Show with over 90+ cars and attendees. Went into the cafe to find they had a limited menu to Hot Dogs and Chicken Fingers.

I have no involvement of the planning of the car show but I will also be sharing this with the director of the club because of how unhappy attendees were with the service, and management of the cafe. Like how can you be limited to...

This casual establishment is a throwback to yesteryear inside a nice stone cabin with fireplaces to warm up during cold weather and the only restaurant/cafe around in the nearby area.
I was greeted by the young staff. Their simple menu is a little diverse, from breakfast sandwiches, various burgers, and hot dogs to fries, but nothing too fancy.
We decided on a cheeseburger, a tuna fish salad sandwich, large fries to share, and drinks for takeout.
Service was friendly and quick. Prices are quite reasonable, and the food was hot, freshly prepared, and tasty.
We can...
