McDonald's — Restaurant in Altamont

Would give 0 stars if this was an option. Went to my local McDonald's this evening and ordered my food at 915. There were 3 cars ahead of me. When placing my order, was spoken to very rudely. After 20 minutes of sitting in the line and not moving I finally got to the first window to find NOBODY taking payment. Assuming that they were working shorthanded, i eventually was able to pull to the pick up window. I gave the girl my card and she had to call the "supervisor" Tabatha over to take our payment. She was again very rude and I responded that I thought 20 minutes was pretty ridiculous to have to wait. She told me that if I had a problem I needed to contact her manager about it because she was too busy trying to cook orders. She then told the other girl to give me my card back because she did not want to deal with my attitude. 😂😂 The service at this restaurant has been increasing worse but this was a horrible experience. At least the girl at the window apologized for our experience before we had to drive away...

I visited this McDonald's during their grand re-opening week after going through rennovations. The staff were nice, and the updated building was gorgeous, but they seemed to be more focused on using their new ordering kiosk than good quality custoner service. It was disappointing to continually be redirected back to a machine to order when the whole reason I came in was to order face to face with a person. And when I asked if I could just order at the counter the staff told me that they were to use the machine from now on, but she'd be more than happy to help me if I was having difficulty using it. I used the ordering kiosk twice while I was there, and it functioned fine, giving choices on everything possible when ordering down to what ingredients were on each burger & what dipping sauces I wanted with the chicken tenders. Driving during Thanksgiving, returning back to Fort Leavenworth, pulled off of I-70 Westbound exit at this location because I saw a McDonald's sign and signs for gas — one of the nicest off the exit stops I've ever been at on a highway. Right across the street from a Dollar General if you need other stuff that you don't want to pay gas station prices for; across the parking lot from a sit down restaurant, and a well-lit gas station too (important for those traveling alone)... this McDonald's is also one of the cleanest ones I've ever been to, and it seems as if it's been renovated or newly built because even the round tables and cushion chairs at the round tables are awesome. Like I said, one of the best exit stops I've ever pulled off of on...
