Joe Bean's Express Espresso — Restaurant in Altavista

I get the same thing everytime I go to Joe Beans and so far no matter which location I go to, it is always the same or very close. Today this was first time in Altavista (my primary location is Wards Rd, Timberlake Rd. Or the one over by the little food truck village) this one did not live up to what I have come to know and love. It tasted like my crazy Joe Energy was straight up syrup. Even the top of it was sticky syrup suggesting maybe they forgot the club soda, or lotus energy. I will keep visiting others, but that will be my one and only trip to this location. I had an issue a few weeks ago with my order being made incorrectly on more than one occasion. As a person with food allergies, an incorrect order can cause me pain and discomfort for days after I’ve had a food I can’t tolerate. I reached out to Joe Beans and was immediately acknowledged, apologized to, and given a promise to do better. And they did :) I see and hear their promise in action. The baristas repeat my order to me before taking my payment, call it out the same way they repeated it to me, and repeat it once more when they give me my drink. Since we have no Starbucks or coffee cafe's in town, I decided to give Joe Beans a try. I chose the Caramel Apple latte with low foam and whip. Sadly, there was almost no flavor to the coffee at all! I will probably give them one more try before I decide to veto them. The lady at the window was super nice and provided excellent customer service. Hopefully they were just having an "off" day, or maybe the barista was new??? They do offer a wide range of flavors, and some yummy looking pastries as well. I truly hope my next cup will have some flavor to it, as I love...
