This place is s local hometown favorite for a reason!

The food is incredible, cooked to perfection, and still affordable. Dishes come out quicker than expected. Drinks are probably some of the lowest priced in the area! I personall6 recommend the roast beef sandwich, it is the best in the area and I am a roast beef snob. 😅

The owner makes you feel welcome and remembers you when you return! A genuinely friendly guy and well loved in the community.

The atmosphere is cozy and dim , multiple tvs playing sports programming for those who are there for the sports bar appeal, trivial pursuit decks on the table for those who prefer mental athletics. 😅

Only down side is it is cash payment only, there is an atm near the bathrooms however. I'd recommend stopping by a free sheetz atm prior to your visit.

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy good food, watch some sports and make new friends, then this place is a must. The first friend you’ll make here is Mike, the owner. Mike will make you feel like you’re a guest in his home and he has a heart the size of Texas. The staff is amazing, service is super fast and efficient and all the food is amazing and reasonably priced. When you walk out the door, you will be full, happy and will have a smile on your face. I would highly recommend this restaurant! I found Mike's Court online while searching for a restaurant near the UPMC Altoona hospital. At 3:00pm, the restaurant was naturally pretty empty except for some regulars at the bar. I sat down by myself, and Mike, the owner, immediately came to wait on me, but additionally asked about my life, why I was in town, how I heard about the restaurant, etc. I ate the buffalo chicken pizza which was very tasty. When I went to pay, Mike rang up my meal, and the price was surprisingly low. The regulars at the bar were very friendly and chatted with me for another 15 minutes or so.
