My family and I were traveling out of town and stopped by Sonic to get some food. The carhop was a pretty nice young lady, but she accidentally left something off our order which was fine. She went back inside to correct everything and shortly after, the supposed manager got back on the intercom and began to proceed in trying to fix our order then suddenly got extremely aggressive and highly disrespectful. All we were trying to get was the fry we ordered and that was left off of the ticket. He basically threatened us to leave because THEY messed up OUR order! We were very cooperative the entire time, and he was not AT ALL. My uncle deserves a formal/written apology for the nonsense he had to deal with or for him to be dismissed. We were only customers looking for assistance. We also feel like we were being heavily discriminated because of our race. We were told in translation “if you don’t like it, then leave”. Really nice Sonic ran by a good manager. There are certain days when staff does run a little slow on orders when coming out but that could be due to unforseen things. I'm not quite sure what happened, but recently on mobile orders, when you order Mozzarella sticks it's supposed to come out with marinara sauce. Yet every time they come out its like someone forgets to put them in the bag so sometimes I'll have to give a quick friendly reminder that I'd like some. It's not a big deal aside from when you order the item off the app you cannot remove the sauce so you more or less anticipate that it should be there when its not you're kind of left confused. Asked for the commercial promotion and I guess I didn't pronounce it right. So I was rudely told we don't make patty melts. Common sense would have kicked in for me and I would have asked the customer if they were speaking of the promoted grilled cheese with a double patty. Duh! It is just food. Not brain surgery. I never want to put any business in a bad light,but ya'll need to do more training with your employees.
