I attended NWOSU home of the rangers for four years and earned my masters degree in counseling psychology. I love the small town atmosphere that you get at NWOSU. Alva is a small town where everyone knows everyone. Growing up in a small town this was important to me. Even with the small town feel though I still got a great education while I attended. The same I felt I would have gotten at a major university and I was even able to get my masters degree. The teachers were easy to access and you had very small class sizes. The only down side was that I often had to take ITV courses from Woodward or Enid which really takes away from the learning process.
