Pam's Donuts — Restaurant in Alvarado

Prices are similar to across the street, at least when it comes to the pigs in a blanket. I asked if they had any bear claws and was offered an apple fritter. When I mentioned it was an apple fritter, I was told by the woman who served us that it is a bear claw. I decided not to argue with her after she tried explaining "they call them bear claws too", even though I know it wasnt that at all. After a head shake no she followed with "then we don't have any". I let my mom order what she wanted while I decided. When my mom finished, the woman asked if that was all, although I made it clear I was still deciding. I felt very rushed when it seemed like I had to clarify that I was still ordering. She seemed so disinterested in my mother and I being there and I felt like she just wanted to get us out of there as soon as possible. For five months I call ahead on Friday mornings making an order. I'm a teacher and we celebrate making it to Friday with donuts for all my kids. My husband called in our order and asked for one dozen glazed donuts and 5 dozen donut holes. It's the same order every Friday. When I went to pick up the lady said he said one dozen donuts only. I was next to my husband when he called it in and that's not what was said. I stated I needed 5 dozen donut holes and was told no. The lady that did my order is always rude when I go in. Imagine getting there at 430 to get cinnamon rolls and apple fritters because if You come after 9ish they don't have None. I came from Cleburne because we lived here in Alvarado for several yrs and we loved Pam's..But it was raining this morning and I made the trip for Absolutely Nothing..why..No cinnamon rolls or apple fritters..said over an hour wait.. SERIOUSLY..then 2 employees come in late while she telling me the wait time🙄..SMH..so instead of wasting gas and time..I ordered 4 plain donuts 1 chocolate cake donuts(that tasted like oil) and a chocolate milk drink..Almost $10..won't be coming back..This used to be the place to come get a variety of donuts..not just...
