Whataburger — Restaurant in Alvarado

I just can't anymore. I've gone through the drive through many times over the years when I get off work early in the morning. It's a frustrating experience 99% of the time, but I understand that in the early morning hours they may be understaffed and therefore there will be a wait. Today was different. It wasn't super early. It was 6am when I placed my order. There was no one in front of me. I pulled up to the window and sat there for 20 minutes before being acknowledged. Then the girl says "you had the blah blah blah?". I said "no ma'am, I had the 2 breakfast bowls. 1 with sausage and 1 with bacon". She finally took my card and then asked me to pull forward. 5 minutes later she brings me a bag and says "you had 2 sausage bowls?". I said "no ma'am, I had 2 breakfast bowls. 1 with sausage and 1 with bacon". She says "yeah, 2 sausage bowls". I said "well, it's 2 breakfast bowls. 1 has sausage but the other one is suppose to have bacon". She looks through the bag and says "this is 2 sausage bowls. So you need a bacon". I said "....right". A couple minutes later she brings out a "bacon bowl". I get home and realize she didn't give me straws and gave me the wrong drinks. I just have a hard time dealing with people who can't use their brain to do their job that they chose for themselves. It's sucks because I enjoy the food but I'm done with the nonsense. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for fast food workers as long as they can put forth just a little...

Probably worst Whataburger experience I have had. Never been to this location as I'm just here on business. The lady at the counter seemed shy/lost. I ordered "dine in" and it came in the bag, the lady said they did it wrong and that she did select "dine in". There were no condiments or anything on the table as many whataburgers have (Ketchup, Salt & Pepper, napkins) nor was I offered any. I ordered the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich, and I'm not sure if this is how they are all made as I had never ordered this before. But, it came completely smothered in sauce which made the bread very soggy and the sandwich a mess. The flavors where good and the chicken was hot, but it was a mess and not enjoyable to eat. The inside of the restaurant was mostly neat and clean, the men's bathroom was almost repulsive, it looked as though they only remodeled bits and pieces of the location and the parts that were not done were going bad fast, the wallpaper was also peeling and brownish throughout the restaurant which was gross to look at...

I do not recommend this Whataburger.. I went last night 10-20-2021 and got I decent size order and I get to the window the lady was handing me my drink's and I said I am missing a 32oz Dr.pepper and she said I didn't hear that 🙄 I said I will pay for it. The lady said I got it and said are you sure I do not mind paying at all.. Once I left the window I pulled forward and checked my order due to almost every time the order is not correct. So I called into the store and was talking with the lady and asked for the manager and she was very unprofessional very bad attitude😔 so long story short I had to go back through the drive thru and order and pay for what I already paid for once by the time I got my missing items my other food was cold 😢 The Gm needs to maybe take a long hard look at the people operating your store.. This whataBurher use to be the best one around so sad to see employees etc running it into the ground 😈 I will from now on drive to the Whataburger...
