El Vaquero — Restaurant in Amarillo

I visited the deli, and was so happy to see hot, fresh food that fragranced the outside of the building and drew me inside, with an appetite.

I asked the lady who took care of me where the tip jar was, and she advised me that they did not have one and that it was against the store's policy. She couldn't accept a tip from me. Although she was content with that, I was not!

Food service workers must go an extra mile or more at times to keep them food going and fresh, keeping the eating areas clean and ready for the next person to come in an enjoy their purchase, with a fierce repetitiveness and guaranteed to repeat itself all throughout the day, any day. Because the good really was delicious. The worker really did make sure that I knew my options, made suggestions, and never batted an eyelash at not being allowed to accept my gratuity.

Shame on the company for telling your workers who ARE WORKING!!! hard, I add, they aren't entitled to my appreciation. And Ms. Lady, whoever you are, you continue to work and care about what you do for your entire existence. You may not realize just exactly how your friendly face and warm smile made my day and all the ugly that plauged it, diminish to content, I'm ok, weight lifted and now I can breathe again feeling. Breakfast burritos are good but it takes a while to get them. The menu is missing off the drive-thru & when I asked the girl about it she just said yes. They're very rude to women. I think they cater chiefly to working men here. There's no way of knowing what the prices are or what's on the menu at the drive-thru & don't bother asking because they can't be bothered. I've come here for breakfast mainly but will return for lunch soon, this morning I went and grabbed a chorizo breakfast burrito and man was it 🔥 Mmmm...Mmmmm. The owner greeted me at the drive thru and was so very polite as I told him the new mural on the building was beautiful and he told me his father was the man on the front of restaurant and the awning over the drive thru and that Blank Space Murals were the artists behind the renovation.
