As a non-Texan passing through late at night and hungry I was a bit relieved when I walked up to the bar asking about food and the bar tender turned to me with a sour face to say "we only serve pizza". She was one of those food service professionals who downsells everything, as if giving me information confirming that the establishment offers goods or services that may match my current desire would be a crushing outcome for her. We swore we'd never eat there again a few years ago however I saw the menu changed since then and read many good reviews so thought we'd try it again. Huge mistake!! The waitress was politely doing what the owner required of her. The owner refused to serve us because I require the assistance of a service dog.
