Just tried for the first time today! Very busy of course and staff were very nice, but expect service to be slow as they continue to find their flow (understandably!) I got an Asiago bagel with chimichurri cream cheese and an iced dirty chai with oat milk. My husband got the breakfast burrito with bacon.
The chinichurri cream cheese was so delicious, but my bagel was borderline stale/not the best texture unfortunately. Also the chai was pretty bitter so probably wonāt order again. My husband said the burrito was great, good ingredients and flavorful.
I wish there were more veg options on the menu for sandwiches and breakfast options. For instance, I wish you could sub the sausage/bacon on the breakfast burrito for black beans. Would also love to see a meat alternative eventually like Morningstar sausage patties, they are a huge crowd pleaser. And also they donāt have any veg/vegan friendly sandwiches since the Caesar sandwich dressing isnāt veg friendly sadly.
So all in all, great vibes inside. Options are limited for plant based peeps. Excited for them to be in town and support their journey but hoping to see some veg inclusivity in the savory side...
Ā Ā Ā Read morestopped in during the opening week for a coffeeā¦..well I skipped the coffee cause the menu had so many gluten free options. It took me so long to decide on what to order because everything sounded so delicious. it was between a breakfast sandwich (gluten free English muffin available) and lunch. Decided on the buffalo verde wrap (substitute for a bowl making it gluten free) I added chicken for extra protein. When I tell you this thing was so delicious I wish I got 2. I also got the gluten free blueberry lemon protein balls for a sweet treat, also amazing. The atmosphere was perfect for working (free WiFi), connecting with friend, or just enjoying some alone time. I ended up staying a few hours so opted to also try the pink haze (protein) smoothie and subbed the juice for water omitting the extra calorie, also soooo good. Grabbed a Thai - Ziki bowl from the to go case along with a gluten free blueberry muffin. They did not disappoint. A...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been to Grind and Go Cafe twice now and really enjoyed both visits. The food is excellent and clearly made with care.
The breakfast burrito was a standoutāespecially the chimichurri salsa verde, which added a ton of flavor without being overpowering. I also tried the Strega Nona sandwich, and the homemade focaccia was probably the best partālight, fresh, and just really well done. The combo of truffle burrata and pistachio pesto was rich and flavorful without feeling too heavy.
My five-year-old daughter loved her āBasic Bā smoothie (the name gave my wife and me a good laugh), and she was a big fan of her egg sandwich, especially the homemade English muffin. I ended up finishing what she didnāt eat, and I can confirmāit was great.
The staff was friendly, the space is welcoming, and thereās plenty of room to sit and relax. Definitely a place weāll keep...
