Route 110 Roast Beef & Seafood — Restaurant in Amesbury

I was at this location maybe a weekend or two ago to pickup four junior roast beef sandwiches. As I waited for my order since it was to go, I kid you not, easily over 10 pickup orders (maybe more) came in & were given there order prior to myself. Now whether they were for other people or Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc, I don't know. But given that & the fact that there were other people that were already waiting in the dining area after I had placed my order was eye opening. From the time that I had placed my order, to the time that I had been given the order came to 35 minutes. I was charged extra for the tomato & lettuce that I had asked to be placed on two of the sandwiches, even though after I had opened the packaging the tomatoes & lettuce were not there. So, given the wait time & the fact that there was not a balance between pickup orders & orders that were placed in house is disappointing, since that will drive away business. I certainly don't have 35 minutes to waste every time I was to eat out for take out. Additionally, after all of that the sandwiches were chewy & were about a 4 out of ten. The only thing that saved it were the toasted buns that added some crunch with the mayo. Overall, I don't have high hopes for this location & I foresee that they will experience some financial troubles in the near future if this continue this...

$38 for a turkey club and a Caesar side salad. Turkey club was a 4 x 4 piece of white bread with old lettuce, old tomato, stinky mayonnaise, untoasted bread. $18 and I got about four slices of turkey ,three slices of bacon, and lettuce and tomato I had to throw out of the sandwich. Now because of the mayonnaise and the smell of it I had to throw half of the sandwich away. A heap of french fries that smelled like fish. Caesar salad May have been good, but the dressing that it was sent with smells so badly of fish I didn't even want See if it would give my girl food poisoning. They have no AC anywhere in the restaurant, So please don't go there and try to sit down for a meal. They don't have any refrigeration at all is what it smells like. Hope they figure this out Because I've been going to this restaurant for years, recently the prices and quality of food are just not on making sense. If you want a roast beef sandwich I guess you can test your luck, but I wouldn't Even go there for that. Employees are dripping sweat and The last four times I've gone there The food looks as sweaty as the guy on the grill. I'm sorry for $40 I could've done...

Had the absolute worst experience yesterday. Highly recommended steering clear. Used the online ordering which directed me to use my paypal. $75 was withdrawn from my paypal and received a confirmation of my order. After waiting over an hour I contacted them only to be put on hold repeatedly while the staff laughed and joked and told me my order didn’t exist. I had to send my receipts to them twice and they still proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do. I even offered to pay cash until they could process the reimbursement but they refused to make the order. They told me they would “call me back” after they called the owner about giving me a refund. The ordeal ended in Amesbury police department having to intervene and make the restaurant bring my money to me. But get this - the girl hands me $70, when I stopped her and told her it was supposed to be $75 she said it was and started to get in the car, where she then pulled the other $5 bill out and handed it to me. Biggest fraud and hassle I’ve ever had to go through for take out. I will never ever contact this scam of a business again....
