Sibie's Pizza — Restaurant in Amherst

If you walk into a pizza shop, and there's copies of Pizza Today magazine available, you've come to the right place. Sibies has been with me through my best and worst times. Their tomato sauce is complex, their dough is soft, sweet and salty but not undercooked. The toppings are delectable- the sausage crispy but textured, peppers fresh but cooked, garlic flavorful but melted into the sauce. It's almost as if that dude from Goodfellas sliced the garlic with his razor blade. If you want over the top ingredients, there are places downtown Amherst that can help you out. Honestly, if you don’t care about your food and you want delivery, pick sibies. They’re good people who make good food. But I just called in to check on a sandwich that was missing from my last delivery (understandable, s* happens) and although they did end up bringing me a sandwich, they didn’t bring me the right one — I’m a vegetarian, so I couldn’t eat the one they sent me. Food is great. The person who answers the phone is great. The delivery service is terrible!!!! First, I was told about 45 minutes for the food. I waited over an hour. Okay, I can overlook that.
