I did used to love this place, I actually met my husband here. Unfortunately after what recently happened, my friends and I will not be back.
My friends and I were here having a great time. First bar night out for me since having a baby 7 weeks ago so my husband took myself and two girlfriends here. We had a table by the bar and it was great! Great until this guy started hanging around the table, which was fine (my two girlfriends are single so of course they attracted attention). We had been there about 3 hours and that guy buys my husband a drink. BUYS MY HUSBAND a drink. Not the girls at the table. I immediately told him not to drink it but he thought "hey this dude just wants to seem cool so he can continue hanging out with our group" Within 15 minutes of drinking that beer, he is on the patio completely unaware of where he is, what day it was and on the verge of being unconscious and he asked me to call 911. My husband had a total of 4 beers here. 4 beers in a three hour span of time, while also drinking water. My husband was drugged. While on the patio I told my friend to get a security guard because the doors outside sound an alarm if you open them and I needed to get him out front for the ambulance. My friends and I repeatedly asked the security guards to get the guy that bought him the drink, to at least let us show them who it was. They refused to let us back in the building. Refused to let us give them any information. One of them even told my friend to not do his job for him when she started giving him a description of the guy. Instead of helping in anyway, a gentleman that seems like a manager came out and told us my husband is just drunk and to take him home. They then got all flustered that I called the ambulance. We took my husband to the ER. Someone drugged my husband but because he is a guy at a bar everyone played it off as "he's just drunk" The staff here is unacceptable. What if that was a girl and instead of her husband trying to get her to the hospital it was a predator trying to get her into his car. This is now the third person I've heard of getting...
Read moreI’m not sure if the owner or management has changed, but it’s definitely going in the wrong direction. We’ve been to the Ranch Restaurant and Saloon many times and had a great time before, but last night was filled with bad customer service and petty complaints.
We started as we usually do with dinner, which was great food, cocktails, wine and dessert.
We headed next door after spending a hefty amount and just because 2 of us decided to split a meal, we still had to pay for one to enter the saloon. It wasn’t a money issue, it was the principle of it, we already spent a ton at the restaurant and planned to do the same enjoying ourselves at the saloon so why charge the extra fee? To all of us it was just a petty request of payment, bad customer service and we should have just been ushered in.
Well none the less we go in anyways because we’re still a good group that knows how to have fun. So we go to the dance floor and we don’t have the best skills in line dancing, but we’ve always been able to just go and try our best in the middle where the newbies hang out. We’re a group of four ladies dancing together and having a good time, well they didn’t like that, which I can understand because 4 takes up more space than 2 so whatever, we split up and it’s fine, and keep dancing, but then we see the same guy stop a sweet older couple just because they aren’t dancing to the exact style of their liking, that older gentleman was not too thrilled and calmly asked why they couldn’t have any creativity in dancing and the security guard then threatened to kick them off the dance floor. The lady he was with walked away as she didn’t want any trouble and wasn’t able to finish her dance.
It’s just so disappointing how strict and petty they’ve become. We’re a very respectful group and loved coming just to have some good food, a good time and practice some line dancing, but unless something changes with their staff and the way they handle these things, we won’t be back,...
Read moreI was just at this establishment last night and had the worst experience ever. I have never felt so unwelcome as I did. Let me first start by saying that I absolutely loooove country music.. we literally had just left the Alan Jackson concert! We drove 3.5 hours to see him perform and it was spectacular. After the concert we looked up a country bar and this one came up and looked fun so we decided to go. We were having an good time. Then the DJ decided to play one of my favorite songs Danza Kuduro by Don Omar! I grabbed my husbands hand and we went out to the dance floor to… dance! As we were out there having an AMAZING time dancing, a security member approached us to tell me that I had to leave because I was dancing too fast and not… LINE DANCING to Danza Kuduro!? I mean coooooomeeee on. I was off in a corner dancing not interrupting anyone! I was asked to leave the dance floor because I was dancing and not line dancing. Ummm. How is that okay? There was no “safety issue”as one the employees had stated. Literally just dancing minding our own business having a good time..I get it, its a country bar BUT how in the heck do you expect a Latina women not get up and dance to a Latin song the way she wants to!?! I had to leave because I was dancing too fast?!..It was honestly mind blowing that I got kickoff a dance floor for dancing a latin song instead of line dancing it.. just mind blown really. We’ve been to many many country bars and have never experience that. Obviously we decided to leave. I spoke with the manager and he didn’t seem to give two sh*ts. I regret going and wasting my money at this establishment. Please don’t waste your time or...
