Bourbon Street Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Anderson

Went once, will never return. Hard to tell who was an employee and who was a customer. Walked in on a dead night. Sat at the bar for a solid ten minutes before anyone offered to get me a drink. The guy that poured my beer was drinking and shooting pool with some people not really sure he worked there. He had to yell (literally) through a door to the back for a lady to come ring me up. Was poured a different beer than what I ordered. Watched him pour it and the taste was rather obvious. After some relative quiet they decided to blast some rap music. I'm not a fan, but others weren't complaining so maybe its common here. The issue is they turned it up to the point the speakers were clipping out. The sound vibrating though my chest was an interesting sensation. However since the lyrics were so garbled, I was questioning how many beers I had consumed. Immediately after the rap music they jumped to some country. Not current country but more like the slow paced stuff my father listened to in the early 90s. On the plus side, their speakers were capable of playing it without garbling it. The beer was cheap though. Would probably be a good place for a young group to get trashed. Overall an unprofessional atmosphere filled with Anderson's finest...

Great dancing music, pool cues are way better than most bars have. However the service ISN'T great. My sister along with a few people were asked if they needed anything, she said yes gave her order and we never saw her again. Then I went to the bar ,ordered a bottle of water and was charged a dollar for it, later a different waitress came , I ordered another one, and she tried to charge me 2 dollars for it. Smh really seems like she is trying to take advantage of the customer, and who knows maybe the other...

First night was great. April 5th. Awesome experience. Bar tender was really cool. He let us know about places around here. We returned the next day. There was a different guy working and the experience was disappointing. The gentleman working acted as if not only my order but others orders were of a burden to him. Not very well spoken. Slightly rude. I will return as I have just moved here. Customer service from all employees should be taken a little...
