Bob & Luigi's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Andover

Every single time we give this place another try, it disappoints. This is the 3rd time in less than a year that we’ve ordered from a nice LOCAL establishment, instead of the commercial pizza places and we’ve been disappointed each time. This evening we ordered a pizza for delivery. Pizza stated it was expected to be there at a certain time. I continued to check the link to see where abouts on the pick up and delivery of our pizza and nothing had ever changed and it was five minutes past the delivery time that it was supposed to be delivered. I contacted the restaurant and they stated that the pizza had been sitting there for “a while” and they didn’t know where the driver was and they had no way to look that information up. Long story short, I went to the restaurant to pick up the pizza myself and asked for them to remake it. Currently waiting in the restaurant to see if they have warmed my pizza up that has been sitting there for 30 minutes or more or if they actually remade it. Of course they didn’t offer to comp me the pizza, so this will be our last time with this establishment. Sad part is my children’s school usually does a fundraising night for this business and I will be speaking to the PTO to plead that we do not support a local business that does not support their locals. My suggestion to Bob and Luigi’s…do NOT subcontract with outside delivery agencies if you know that they cannot keep their word on...

First time visiting this restaurant. Looking at the website, the menu looked great; however, it seems to be outdated. Prices are listed as $10 roughly, but it turns out that mediums are $20 each, so make sure you verify your looking at the correct size. Ordered the deluxe bacon cheeseburger without the special sauce (ketchup and mustard but with regular marinara instead). As you can see from the picture, the ketchup and mustard were still included. Maybe user error? But there was no clarification from the employee that it comes with both special sauce and ketchup and mustard when ordering. Would definitely not suggest this pizza.

The saving grace for us was the mac & cheese pizza, the pizza comes with bacon on it and the saltiness and crunchiness of the bacon with the cheese of the Mac & cheese was a surprisingly tasty combination. Will definitely be ordering this again.

Pizza is a little above average for Kansas. It's considerably better than Pizza Hut, Gambino's, Casey's or Papa Murphy's, making it the best in Andover. Staff are very friendly. The problem is the pricing. It is priced higher than Knolla's pizza and Knolla's is 4.5 out of 5 stars. On the day I visited the buffet contained pizza only, no salad. The buffet pizza was a little old but the staff brought out a couple of fresh pizzas a short time later. I would give this restaurant 4 stars but have to remove 0.5 for pricing and 0.5 for charging a $0.99 credit card fee, which is against the law in Kansas. For the prices they charge they shouldn't have a problem covering a $0.75 credit card processing fee. Definitely should not be making a profit on credit card fees.
