Food here is wonderful! We hadn’t come here much because we’d thought maybe it was a little too expensive so when we came for my birthday tonight, we were pleasantly reminded that there is plenty on the menu that is reasonably priced. Still not a fan of a $5 side salad since none of the meals come with one, but we pay it every time we come and the salad served is wonderful. The portions are generous and my husband and I both left with at least half our meal to bring home as leftovers that will definitely get eaten. My husband ordered the Tour of Italy and I chose the Amore Chicken. He enjoyed his and mine was delicious! We didn’t share that it was my birthday nor did we order dessert, but I’m still glad I chose this restaurant for an intimate date night with my husband. I do remember having the tiramisu on another occasion here and loving it! When we left the husband said we should definitely frequent this restaurant more often and I agree. I will especially say that it is the best Italian in Andrews. Service was good - not over the top but we weren’t hunting around for our server either. Drinks were always full which is huge for my husband who drinks like he’s dying of thirst. They were attentive and efficient. Had a waitress that did not want to wake the table.My glass of tea was empty but never got offended a refill I ordered Chicken marcella It was okay but I sure cannot taste any marcella in it but it was an ok version of it. My. Daughter-in-law ordered the grilled salmon.The one that was twenty two dollars cause she didn't want the pasta But we got charged for the $28 one and didn't get t h e pasta So I call that overcharge. My grandson got a Cheese Pizza that he could not able eat because of the grease on the pizza the crust was very soggy you could not pick it up And the cheese just slid right off. He couldn't eat it. The dogs wouldn't even eat it after we take it home so no. I will not come back to this place and as far as my waitresses. She should have filled my glass with tea and made sure everybody else's drinks were full and made sure we got out with everything we bought, but she didn't. Came in for lunch and was really excited to try this restaurant because I love family owned restaurants but I was extremely disappointed. The bread was bland amd lacked any flavor, my ceasar salad looked delicious but was disgusting. The ceasar dressing tasted very sweet and unlike the bitterness I look forward to with ceasar salad. Our entrees came out and the spaghetti sauce tasted sour and my alfredo sauce and monicotti was god awful. The ricotta cheese was everywhere as if the chef didnt realize how overpowering it is to a dish and the sauce was just empty of any Italian seasoning. A chef in an Italian restaurant should not be scared of using garlic or basil or parsley or oregano. Anything would have made this dish better.
