Homemade. This best describes this local Andrews gem. From the aguas frescas, tortillas, salsas, food, decor, everything! It has a hole in the wall vibe with a bit of hodgepodge assortment of seating options, nothing out of place for local eateries.
You get chicharrónes (pork rinds) and salsa instead of chips and salsa, which, in my opinion, is an objectively better appetizer. The food was delicious (I had the guizo verde), and the service was great.

Fresh mixtamal corn tortillas were the highlight, have not had that type of tortillas anywhere in this area. If you miss a good home meal I will definitely recommend this place.
