I was so excited to have this restaurant come into town. We needed a few options to eat besides McDonald's and Burger King, so when I noticed they were allowing customers to dine in, I was excited to grab my little cousin and enjoy what I thought would be a fantastic meal. Unfortunately, that's not what I received. The atmosphere was terrific, which was to be expected due to the previous owners. We wanted to sit by the window, and the staff granted our request. We quickly ordered our drinks and cheese with the chips and salsa brought to our table. Salsa was very much out of a jar or can. But, the best part of the meal. When we received our cheese, which was an additional charge, the young gentleman brought in the bowl, which was pretty burning himself and spilling cheese all over the sides of the bowl; my little cousin pretty much assumed that his fingers had managed to get in our cheese, but the cheese was my favorite part of Mexican cuisine, so I was unfazed as I didn't see it happen. As he placed the bowl on the table and I went to dip, I noticed that the cheese was a very running consistence, almost like dipping your chips into warm milk, it had no taste, and I am pretty sure I had more milk than I had cheese. So, being confused, I asked the waiter if that was normal, and she replied yes. I looked at the menu and noticed the same cheese, but with shrimp; maybe the shrimp would thicken it up and allow me to enjoy my favorite part, so I included it in the order with the items I wanted, which were streak, shrimp (extra shrimp) instead of chicken on a bed of rice with onions and peppers, my little cousin order tacos and beef wrap. The food was quick, so we were even more excited; my little cousin noticed she didn't get the beef she requested but received chicken. The tocos, she stated, had fresh ingredients, but the meat on the tacos didn't have any flavor or season. It was bland. My experience on the other side of the table was about the same. The best part of my plate was the shrimp, which I was supposed to be getting extra because I didn't want chicken, but I think I had only six on the plate. The beef was the same as my cousin's bland, with no seasons, and well, the onions and peppers were super fresh because they were undercooked. I'm sorry, the onions were cooked. The bell peppers were heated to join the onions on the plate, so I had crunchy bell peppers, six shrimp, and unseasoned beef on a bed of rice. I picked around to the part that I wanted (Shrimp) and decided I wouldn't take any leftovers, But then I noticed that I had a piece of brown skin from the onion in my food. I put my fork down at that time and decided I was done. Remember that shrimp and cheese; they never made it to the table; I canceled my request, paid the bill, and left. I left a tip even though I never got a refill of my drink, which was gone before my entries arrived at the table. I know they are new, and maybe in a couple of months, I will give them a try again, but as of right...
Read moreFrom the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The staff was not only courteous but also extremely attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect.
The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, making us feel right at home. We started our meal with their delicious margaritas, which were perfectly balanced and refreshing. My personal favorite, the steak quesadilla, was nothing short of amazing – the flavors were rich and satisfying. And let's not forget the guacamole! It was so fresh and flavorful that it felt like a little piece of avocado heaven on our table.
The prices were also quite reasonable and comparable to other dining options in the surrounding area, making it a great value for such a delightful experience.
Overall, this restaurant truly stands out for its exceptional service, delightful ambiance, and mouthwatering dishes....
