Our experience with this location is usually not bad however, this time we had the misfortune of meeting one of their cashiers by the name of Chloe.
We normally place mobile orders and pickup through this locations drive through in order to make it the most convenient for us and for them since i am someone that usually has changes to my order.
Typically there's not many issues if any, and if there are it is usually not something we ever feel strongly enough to write about.
Today, we pulled up to the drive through like we normally would and were initially met with rudeness at the speaker. Which normally wouldn't even matter, but it was followed then by given the wrong size drink at the window. They gave us a medium when we ordered a large. Again, not a big deal and an easily fixable problem.
The real issue begins when we told her the drink was wrong. "hey im pretty sure this is supposed to be a large coke" after the eye roll she(Chloe) gives she takes the drink removes the lid and pours the drink into the large cup, puts a new lid on (no gloves on her hands, a chickenwrap that i am interrupting her eating in the other hand while she works the window and handles every customers drinks and food) She smirks at us and hands the drink out the window. Usually the rudeness would be let go and forgotten but the smirk showed she wanted us to know she intentionally was being rude... these are the people you have chosen to hire?
We visit this location frequently and we will continue to do so.
This rude dirty girl not following health code safety and obviously not being monitored by an adult that will make sure she is doing her job not only the right way but she is intentionally going out of her way to be rude instead. We will be back to this location within the next few days.
We will leave a review on every single thing that bothers us instead of letting it go.
The health violations we ignore every visit because we know how hard everything is right now... we will no longer ignore.
We wont let the little things go anymore out of kindness. This girl (Chloe) is rude.
She should not be working there.
She wanted us to know that she did it intentionally so now we are intentionally responding and i will follow up with Dave(District Manager) if i need to go further than this...
After years of working closely with Servsafe and Ecolab you can guarantee i will come through with a fine tooth comb. Kindness shouldnt be looked at as a weakness and i guess a little rude girl (Chloe ) will have to be the one to learn a lesson...
All of this being said the manager at the time seemed like she was lacking support from anyone other than herself. She seemed like a good worker that gets thrown into the weeds regularly. She did an amazing job to be honest i do not remember her name... she only works Sundays and seems incredibly kind and undeserving of such employees(Chloe)
We did get a refund but did not ask for it... it wasnt about the money or the food or even the "experience" that you want your customers to have. The experience is dead at the speaker when you hire dirty rude humans to work (Chloe)
Luckily my partners name was on the order so this can almost seem like a secret shopper experience for this store as you dont know who i am. I will make the calls i need to make to ensure that Wendys can keep the reputation that they deserve in this area. Rude entitled girls who have never struggled in their life treating everyone horribly(Chloe) dont belong... I will follow up to make sure she isnt there. Thanks for the bad experience Chloe but we will be back. You wont lose this customer unless it continues. I do feel you should lose this employee (Chloe) maybe keep the rudeness under wraps until the customer leaves like everyone else next time.
