Ono Grill sushi Hibachi & chinese Food — Restaurant in Anniston

The food was incorrect. I didnt get my appetizer. The building was run down, not so bad inside. The service was bad. The waitress acted like she wanted to be anywhere else, except at the end of the meal when we got our tickets. Everyone got their food at the same time except for one of our companions...he waited over 20 minutes, while we ate our food and the waitress said something about tickets for the sushi were backed up in front of his order. The restaurant was all but empty except for us and maybe 3-4 other guests. Im assuming they were filling DoorDash orders before ours and his got lost in the shuffle. He was saying g to just take it off of his ticket so we could go. She magically brought it to him and it wasn't right. He didnt pay for it and we left. We won't go back...I...

Very impressed with the effectiveness and kindness of the staff. The place is a little dated on the inside and outside but that just lets you focus on the food. Food was beyond expectations. Even the rice was flavorful. And the portions are big enough to fill you but small enough to let you try everything in your plate. The sushi was great. I’ve only tried sushi one time before this and this place made me live sushi. I tried the California roll and a fried shrimp one. Both very good and well made. It was also clean and easy to find. We went during the lunch special time and it was very easy to find what I wanted to eat. The waitress explained it all...

I went there for the first time today & the food was terrible. The service was good, but the chicken fried rice was not flavorful at all. It tasted boiled or something out of a can. We asked can we get a refund or not pay full price, even trade it out for something else. The manager was very rude, and says "If I don't like it, I still pay for it." Well, if 4 out of the 6 people at the table got the same thing and it was still a full plate, we should be able to trade it out or don’t come out of pocket for the whole thing. Definitely don't get the fried rice! I can't speak for anything else but that....
