Let's see four of us went and ordered two super nachos, and tacos(because they're known for it). Alambre, pastor, tripitas, bistek, and a burger, and elotes. Pretty typical taco order for four folks. Alambre on their menu mentions bacon( never saw any of it), tacos al pastor definitely not pastor, more like salty dried out adobado tacos. The tripitas were order to be crispy and came out burnt and flavorless, the bistek was okay nothing fantastic. We had a burger and it was overdone with condiments, and the nachos were okay nothing fantastic, and lastly.elotes were water downed corn with some Chile(no butter, cotija, or mayo). Their aguas were more like pre mixed kool aid, and their coke was flat right out of the bottle. The wait time was over 45 minutes and we had to remind them about our order. For the amount of "good reviews" it was a very disappointing experience. Not to mention absolutely not worth the money. 80 bucks for four people, could of had a much better taco truck experience, not this. Save yourself the disappointment of these reviews and try another venue. This place isn't what it's...
Read moreI was told by one of cousins that this place was bomb so we stopped b4 we left Anthony. And let me tell you it was "The Bomb.com" the ladies were really respectful and friendly. The area is outdoor and really comforting with their lighting and friendly service. I ordered a Torta de colita de pavo (turkey butt sandwich) it was fresh and hot. The taste left my tastebuds wanting more. And we also got an order of tacos de tripitas (pig intestesnt tacos) the were really good and also hot and fresh. We ordered them crispy but they were still kind of soft, but it was fine bc the taste made up for it lol. And yall know I love aguas frescas (fresh fruit water) and their agua de melon (cantaloupe water) was off the chain good. This is the spot to stop at if you have the munchies and beer munchies lol or if your just in the mood for a good time and good food tacos El Abuelo is the spot to be at. I'll finish this with a 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and...

They may serve the best tacos I've ever had in my life. The horchata is excellent as well. The homemade tortillas really hit the spot. We tried this place out on our trip across the SW, and it was so good it was the one repeat restaurant we went to on the return trip.
I like to advise/recommend something in my reviews so: Only get a burrito if you want a lot of meat and/or a flour tortilla. The filling is the same as tacos except for the amount. All of the salsas/sauces are delicious, but the red one snuck up on me and had tears in my eyes by the end of my meal (very spicy).
They have a sign that says "As for me and this place we will serve TACOS", and as long as they do I'm finding any excuse to travel to Anthony...
