The Rose Garden Restaurant Authentic Mexican Food — Restaurant in Anthony

Because I don't have the ability to rate it lower.... usually we are quite happy ...but today was an eye-opener....we won't be back....been going about once every other month for about 4 years....but today our waitress was horrible...the food was off.... my granddaughter was brought her food first after appetizer steak fajitas but no tortilla next plate came 4 minutes later burger/fries no ketchup next plate 1 minute later still no tortilla no ketchup...4 minutes later my meal came with their tortilla and ketchup so it took nine minutes to bring us a tortilla fijata was at that point cold so we're the fries... bathroom was dirty on the way to the bathroom I had to walk by the kitchen...it truly stopped me dead in my tracks...I even went back for my phone to photo it but they my reaction and had shut the door ...after 3 of there staff saw me standing in horror looking at them the floor etc. My mouth was wide open head just shaking in shock and disgust employees ran for brooms etc. Imediately from my reaction...just food all over the floor containers salsa salad like dust pans gallore of food it was disgusting and dangerous for there employees 😡😠 this is only my third negative 😠😡 review I have ever made anywhere in my Google review history couldn't get our waitress to ever pay attention to us and we started to get sick of n the way home.......the rose garden sent me an email..... stating I received free food that day and the waitress was written up....and a bunch of other lies.....how...

I visit this place often, but lately, I’ve noticed a decline in the service. There’s a shorter gentleman with a mustache who rarely acknowledges customers—no greetings, no eye contact, and he doesn’t smile. He usually sits either at the front or back of the restaurant, and customers have to approach him if they need something. There’s also a taller waitress who seems to prefer serving men over women, children, or older guests. It feels somewhat discriminatory, as though she’s annoyed when serving anyone other than men. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry, so I understand tipping, and I consider myself a good tipper. However, she might think that men would tip her more if she prioritizes them.

Overall, the food is good, but the service is slow. It takes too long to get an order or even a glass of iced tea, and every time I arrive, there’s rarely anyone up front but the mustache gentleman, most of the staff seem to stay in the kitchen. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I’m hesitant about...

Sorry not so good! The waitress was more interested in chatting with each other and the food was cold. Not to mention I got a upset stomach later that night. Heart burn too! Could have been from something else I eat that day. But don't think cheese and crackers did it. The young waitress need to be told that while they hang out behind that small counter laughing loudly others can hear them. While customers are being forgotten about. My husband did enjoy his sauce on top of his steak tacos even though it was cold. I felt my husband did leave the girl a decent tip, because when did come to the table she was bubbly but not very knowledgeable...
