On this journey to land of McBurgers, I find myself at the drive thru. A voice comes over the speaker "hello McStatic, can I...." "Um, yes!" I proclaimed. "I would like a..." "Give me a minute sir." Said the voice coming from the McBox. "Sure, no problem." I said.
(One forever later)
"Hello, will you be using the app today?" Says the box of McVoice.
I reply, "Uhm, no, not today, I would like 2 spicy McChickens a diet coke and a regular coke, both large please."
Obviously stunned by the large order I had placed, the McVoice confirms with me that i had ordered 2 McChickens and 2 Cokes.
With a small bit of hope in humanity, i reply. " I would like 2 SPICY McChickens and a large DIET Coke (friend is diabetic and this is important) and a large REGULAR Coke please."
"Ok, that will be some large amount of money at the first window." Mcbox Voice proclaimed.
I get to the window, the person taking my money first rubs the snot from her nose with her hand, then proceeds to take my debit card with snotted hand. She swipes the card, hands it back, then wipes nose with hand, grabs receipt and tries to hand it to me.... I tell her to keep it due to very seen circumstances.
Pulling up to the next window, there is no cars behind me or at the drive thru ordering area. Window on the McBuilding slides open with the force of 10000 slide units. "HERE ARE YOUR DRINKS SIR!!!" the disgruntled manager (I assume by the shirt) rudely says. Please pull over to the #1 spot, it will be a minute on that chicken."
I pull up and over to the spot she mentioned. I sit there for around 10 minutes before a different person bring me the meal. "Thank you!" I say as I realize how long I have been here.
I rush home, which is less than a 3 minute drive to find out that the sandwiches are cold and the Cokes are both regular.
And that's what over $10 worth of McDonalds in Anthony...
Read moreIf I could give less than one star I would. Anthony McDonald's has to be the absolute worst one out there. If you know anything about Anthony, you know the options for dining out are slim. We go after school to get a quick soda and occasionally a hamburger for my 6 year old. After today I am literally done trying to give this specific establishment a chance. We went through the drive thru and ordered two large soda's and a double cheeseburger with ketchup only. We waited nearly 20 minutes in the drive thru for these items and literally none of them were correct. I went inside to ask for a new cheeseburger that was correct. I received absolutely terrible customer service both times and was asked to pay for the new cheeseburger. Terrible customer is not uncommon at this location as is the...

As a local Google guide, I keep editing the maps saying it's non-existent, Google accepts that, but some computer program put it back on the maps. Visitors & neighbors: you are welcome to eat at other restaurants in town. We have American Homestyle, Breakfast & Brunch, Chinese, Mexican, Pizza, Sandwiches, Salads, Fried Chicken, & Buffets, and Shepherd's Gas Station across the road has great food too! (My favorite is the mozzarella sticks, large corn dogs, and cheesy Mac 'n' cheese) For brand name restaurant: there's Subway in Harper!...
