Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in Antioch

This place opened back up after closing a while back, not due to Covid. The service for some reason hasn't changed which I can't say is a great thing. We were about to leave the drive thru when we realized we didn't have our drink from the order. So when we reversed back, we were the only customer there, we assumed they could hear us from outside. So we waited, then honked because no one was coming to check why we were still at the window. No one came. We were fortunate enough to catch an incoming employee who helped us alert the staff inside. The drink was never made so we had to wait for that. I would have been ok with this had there been other vehicles in line but as I said before, we were the only people there.

This type of service is normal for this location which is very disappointing. Does it make us not want to go back? No, because where else do we go for good corn dogs and chili dogs...

Nothing but idiots work here. They have a lack of management. If any? I ordered 4 chili dogs and an ice cream.. First I sat in line at the drive thru for 15 mins before even ordering. 10 mins after I order I finally get to the window(there was 1 car in front of me) and sit there for at least 3 mins. Then the idiot comes to the window and says their ice cream machine is having issues and I will have to wait. I waited to long. We left. Ive worked at a snack bar before and hot dogs and chili are not difficult to make. Actually it is quite easy. Don't use any of your credit/debit cards here. Somehow i "tipped" someone on my credit card. Shady as hell and the people are dirty. This is not a first time experience with the workers being dirty. It's too bad this place is as bad as it is, i like their ice cream. Suggestion.. go...

Not many customers to be seen while I was in the restaurant. I only had a count of 2 other people, a couple. Staff was not very professional at their job. Prices didn't reflect the food they served in my opinion. And the building itself is old & decrepit. *Updated Just to give a little more background on the establishment. It has been around for a whille, and while the other restaurants fast-food or otherwise generally upgrade/and-or maintain the premises as time usually necessitates such. This establishment however, is apparently firmly against any type of upkeep or modernization and you can't help but to feel as though the lack of effort on the owner of the franchise in some way has to effect the morale and customer service level that is put forth by their worker's on a...
