Dairy Queen used to be my favorite place to eat in Antioch. It’s affordable, the food is fresh and the quality is good. Unfortunately, I cannot say this anymore about this location which has stopped me from frequently visiting. The last time I went, my chicken strips were re-drop, how do I know this? The strips were so hard that meat inside had dried out and the outside was so hard and tough I had to pull. When I told the young man that’s still working there now that my chicken strips were Re-dropped he immediately got defensive and insisted on giving me A refund instead of remaking my food which Was the worst customer service I’ve ever experience.
Today I went, hoping that it would be a different experience and it was very similar my french fries were hot and freshly made but my chicken strips on the other hand were not even warm. My soft serve sunder was frozen hard. The only thing I could think of, why it would be like that is because they prepped the sundae and put them in the freezer to do less work and add your topping When you order which is very disappointing, cause it defeats the purpose of it being It was completely frozen.
I usually don’t take the time out to do reviews but did because who ever’s in charge needs to know!! This cutting conners really needs to be addressed. They are running your business down to...
Read moreDairy Queen isn't what I normally think of when I want a burger meal, but some friends and I happened to be nearby and hungry, and decided to give it a try. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a $5 lunch deal for a burger, fries, small soda, and a small Blizzard blended ice cream dessert. You can't beat that!
The burger and fries were better than I expected, being better than average for a fast-food burger, and we got our food quickly. Of course, the big winner was the Blizzard (I went with Heath Bar), which are always delicious.
This is a 50's or 60's era Drive In, so the decor consists of a couple of picnic tables along the side of the building, which are frequently sticky from ice cream. They were pretty clean this day, but you never know what you're going to get.
Bottom line, though: if you want a pretty good fast-food burger lunch at a good price, with a bonus Blizzard, it's worth the bit of extra time and effort...
Read moreWhere to even begin. My wife and I were having a pleasant evening all the way through ordering a 6 piece chicken strip basket, flamethrower burger, and 2 of the oreo blizzards. Boy when i tell you my socks blew off into the wind when cashier uttered a number that was eerily close to a whopping $50. Yeah okay bro... im taking my flamethrower off and just getting 1 blizzard. Alright... just a slight $25 for this hunk o junk - it must be delightful for it to warrant such a price. When i tell you the chicken and the fries taste like they pulled them out of the grease trap and fried them in the staffs clogged toilet, it is barely an exaggeration. I dropped one of the chicken strips on the floor and a gang of cockroaches came to start mating with it because they mistook as one of them. I am worried that the chicken so bad it might cause my wife to miscarriage. Yeah safe to say your wallet health and gut health wont be safe if...
