Cosmic Charlie's Coffee House — Restaurant in Antis Township

Traveled from West Coast Canada to support Cosmic Charles with family on opening day! The grey skies and rain didn't keep the community away! Greated with warm smiles and familiar hometown faces, this place felt like more than a coffee house, it's a coffee home🥰! You feel the history of Bellwood Mansion in every crick of the floor as you walk around looking at the artwork and decor, and touching the furniture. There is a story behind almost every piece, which gives the atmosphere life!

The coffee and treats are the cherry (or the froth) on top! Many options to choose from, teas to lattes, pastries to desserts. There are even items for those with dietary restrictions and needs! Service with a smile (and a hug) goes a loooong way!

I recently went here with my fiance. First thing I want to point out is the atmosphere of the sitting area. We both thought it was phenomenal, very cozy and inviting. Other coffee places in the area strive for the same aesthetic but I think this place takes the cake. Their Cosmic Signature Latte (cinnamon brown sugar) was very good! I really liked it and would put it pretty high on my places to return too. However, I thought the dirty chai latte was not the best. I think a lot of places in Blair County struggle with chai lattes and I was a bit disappointed in the one we ordered. We also got bagels and they were your average bagel with cream cheese, nothing to write home about.

All in all, I’d come here again! The coffee was good, the atmosphere was spectacular, I just don’t think I’d order...

I have been with Kelly and Josh from the beginning of their journey opening this coffee shop. When I tell you blood, sweat, tears, and dedication have gone into this, I’m not lying. The atmosphere, coffee, and vibes that they wanted to bring to Bellwood is unlike anything else I’ve seen. You can feel it when you walk in the doors and the coffee is seriously good coffee! (special shoutout to our roasters in Pittsburgh, Commonplace Coffee!) Kelly and Josh are the best people and truly care for their community and staff and creating a space for all to feel welcome.
