This place is absolutely incredible and SO needed in the monadnock region! A lot of the area bakeries are not up to snuff, there's no baguettes available anywhere except the dismal mushy ones at Shaws and Market Basket. Boy has that changed with the arrival of Flag Leaf Bakery! This is legit a NYC, London, LA, Austin-level bakery. The flavor combinations are unique, the baguettes are not dissimilar to what you find in Paris, everything is absolutely fabulous. We ordered a bacon focaccia, a very generous slab for the price, the morning bun is absolutely delicious, touched with cardamom and orange peel, the almond croissant and chocolate croissant were both sublime but the winner was the special filled croissant, the kiwi berry croissant. What an unbelievable croissant! VERY generously filled with the key lime flavor kiwi berry creme patissiere, and the croissant itself was flaky delicious. It would be at home at any top bakery in Paris or Brooklyn! Welcome to the area! I'm so happy I don't have to truck in baguettes from Balthazar or pastries from Otway Bakery any more! Can't wait for them to be open more hours/days. We are very lucky to have this Portland, OR baker duo here in...
Read moreI was referred here by a business across the street. Visited last Friday and purchased the buckwheat porridge bread, a loaf of focaccia and a couple each of the bialy's, cruffins, and croissants. While not a fan of buckwheat anything, this bread is delicious and cooked perfectly as were the croissants and as an avid and past professional baker, this bakery is simply top-notch and as far as I've had, the best in the state. There are a couple of inside tables to sit and enjoy as they serve coffee as well. We are so fortunate to have found you - Flagleaf is worth the trip from...
Read moreOne of the best (if not THE best) bakery in NH. The line out the door every time they are open is a testament to truly how elite they are. We always get a cruffin because it’s a true sweet treat. Their ham and Swiss croissant is flaky, sweet and savory. Perfect every time. We also just got one of their tarts and WOW was it one of the best things we’ve ever eaten. How lucky is the town of Antrim to have this treasure of a spot. I’d love to keep it a secret but everyone deserves to have a little bit of Flag Leaf in their life. They are worth any drive,...
