Mi Cancún of Apex — Restaurant in Apex

What a great job this location does! I've been to multiple Mi Cancuns and it's the same everytime: FAST service, friendly staff, and great food. Love the big selection of menu items as well.

Our drinks were never empty, our chips were always refilled, our waiter checked on us multiple times... I even joked with the kids a few minutes after we ordered that our food will probably be out to us in 5 minutes (which would have been absurd). Uh, it came out in 4 minutes, piping hot and delicious!

This is the the perfect spot if you want to have a group that hangs out and socializes with giant margaritas... OR if you were at soccer all day, tired, and super hungry looking for a quick bite. We were in and out, fully stuffed with nachos, salads, and fajitas in about 35 mins.

We ordered Mi Cancun for the first time ever tonight. We thought it would be similar to most of the mexican restaurants in the area. What can I say, big disappointment. The food was lacking in some serious favor. Probably some of the worst Mexican food I have had in my 50 years on this world. I ordered a California burrito with chicken. There was more rice and beans in the burrito than chicken and there was no sauce on the top (menu said it would have chipotle sauce on top). This was very sad. My wife and daughter ordered taco salads and both said they were not very good. The quality of ingredients was lacking compared to other Mexican restaurants in area. I've waited for my second visit here, and the addition of their bar beverages before coming to sing their praises. I've been to all the Mi Cancuns in the area of the last decade +, even some non Mi Cancuns and this place is a home run. I haven't felt more taken care of in the many, many Mexican restaurants I've been to than at this particular location. The staff and management in particular are exceptional. Their food is also great, with the usuals cooked well and having some authentic dishes you don't find elsewhere make this one of the best Mexican spots in the area.
