Central Restaurant — Restaurant in Apollo

Very nice place to go with a friend/family member to have a relaxing catch up time.

Central is a cozy, home like atmosphere. Some things are somewhat dated, but that's OK. It still works and everything is orderly and in good condition.

The food was good and fresh. I had a tuna hoagie and the all the ingredients were fresh and tasted just as expected.

The entire place is very clean. The bar is separate from the main dining room. Going through were it separates from, you have an opportunity to see partly into the kitchen itself. I was able to tell everything is incredibly clean and orderly.

This is one of Apollo's "hidden gems" and I encourage everyone to check them out.

My husband and I have been going here for 20+ years. Today was our last due to the cook. Ordered an Italian omelette which he has been getting there for years. Today is comes with American cheese melted on top. I asked Barb what omelette this was and she says western. My husband said it fine and ate it. The cook comes out to the doorway and yells across the restaurant,saying she has been cooking there for 40 years and this is how it is made. Never have we gotten an Italian omelette with American cheese on it before. She was very unprofessional,and rude. Can someone tell me what part of American cheese is Italian? The lady owner is not very friendly, rude , arrogant , disrepectful and kicked me out at 6.20pm before 7pm saying she was closing early and would not allow me to finish my wifi update to my cell phone after I eat and paid for service and was not understanding to the fact that I was also very sick. The chicken rice soup tasted great but was warm and cold. The waitress was awesome, friendly and helpful, I gave her a tip.
