Sofia’s was really good. My family and I were passing through and I called a buddy that lives in Arab and asked him where me and my family could stop and eat. Our son is kinda picky but likes Mexican food so he suggested this place. The atmosphere was really nice. Seating was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and easy to find with a luminated sign. The service was great. They were very attentive and quick to refill glasses and chips and made sure our food was correct and if we needed anything else. The chips and salsa were a hit. The chips had good flavor, crispy, and tasted fresh. The salsa was GREAT! It had chunks of stuff in there with onion and fresh cilantro…really good. We cleaned our bowl, but didn’t want spoil our dinner, so when they asked, it was hard not to get a refill. For the dinner, I got the enchiladas, 1 beef and 1 chicken with rice and beans and it was good. If I ever go to a Mexican restaurant for the first time, I always get enchiladas, that is my safe bet. My son got the single taco and fries, and I tried the fries and they were crispy and tasty…he finished his taco so I assume he liked it. The wife got a steak taco plate…came with 3 taco shells, cut up steak, and toppings so you can make your own tacos. It was pretty good, but the steak was like cooked with what tasted like taco seasoning, and that was weird for me and my wife. We assumed it would just be cut up cooked steak and not seasoned in that fashion. I think it would have been better if it was like seasoned with steak seasoning or just something you would season a steak with like salt, pepper, and butter. All in all, we really liked it. Will we go back? FOR SURE. Invite folks to go with us…YEP. We really enjoyed our time there, the food, and...

Let me just say this loud and clear: THIS PLACE IS PHENOMENAL!!!
I don’t know what kind of magical sorcery they’re working in the kitchen, but every bite, every sip, every chip dipped in salsa was a straight-up party in my mouth.
Let’s talk food: ABSOLUTELY NEXT LEVEL. Every dish came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor like it was personally handcrafted by the flavor gods themselves. Tender meats? Check. Zesty seasonings? Check. Plates so clean at the end, you’d think I licked them? Okay… maybe I did. No regrets.
Now, the salsa? OH. MY. SALSA. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill jar from the grocery store — no, no, no. This is liquid gold with just the right kick. I was this close to asking for a to-go gallon. Don’t judge me.
The drinks? Whether you’re into margaritas that’ll make you believe in love again or cocktails so smooth they belong on a yacht in Ibiza — they’ve got it. And they don’t skimp on the good stuff either. One sip and I was dancing in my seat.
And the service? IMMACULATE. Friendly, fast, and on top of it all. It’s like they read my mind — need more chips? Boom. Extra napkins? Already on the table. I felt like royalty.
In short: Get in your car, hop on a bike, crawl if you have to — JUST GET HERE. Your taste buds will thank...
Read moreSaturday night and 5 guests. Long wait to be waited on. 3 out of 5 people had cold meals (1 needed microwaved) while 2 out of 3 had plates that were hot to the touch and were 10 minutes late to the table. The hot meals were incorrect and had to be taken back to correct. The whole tilapia (one of the cold meals) was over fried and dry. Shrimp cocktail had a very small amount of shrimp. This is a new restaurant and may improve with time (the purpose of this review). On a slower day, the experience would more than improve. The Info Road will visit again in a few months and provide an update. Worth a try, but be sure to request that all meals in a large group arrive at the same time and that no plate be placed under heating lamps for an extended amount of time. Request fresh beans and rice. One other note, the tilapia had good flavor, but was more than likely cooked too long followed by a long wait under...
