My party and I had a wonderful time due to our good vibes, the service was excellent and the people servicing us were kind and attentive. I can not give them 5 stars due to the false information given and the way that false info affected my party. I was very dissatisfied with that aspect of booking with them. I booked for a party of 18 for their XL room at $108/hr, they put me in a room that could only seat about 9 people max and I had to wait for what they call their "VIP room" which is $150/hr, which was not acceptable being that my booking was for 18 people originally, I don't know how they thought that small room could accommodate anywhere even close to 18 people. Upon booking, I asked if I could play YouTube or play my own songs from my phone, I was told yes, when that is not the case, you can only pick from the songs that they have available on their system, again, unacceptable. There is a $10 minimum purchase for food/drinks per person. They didn't bring the dishes out separately per individual person, so you have to reach over someone else's food to have yours or figure out which item belongs to who if people ordered the same item, not acceptable. They didn't bring our paper back out to even know who ordered what. The way they served the food was really unacceptable. They put everyone on 1 big bill instead of charging them separately, which when I booked, I was told they could pay for their items separately. Pretty much they wanted the upcharge on gratuity, which they would have made more had they provided checks per order/person instead of grouping it. They did give me $73 off the room change fee, but everything discussed upon booking was false. They only serve Japanese liquor/sake, no tequila, vodka, whiskey, etc. If you're booking for a large party, maybe go there and book in person to see the rooms because they are delusional to think that tiny room could have fit 10 people comfortably let alone 18. The sushi rolls are tiny. The food was decent. Drinks were really good and got us pretty...
Read moreI went on a Friday night with small group, just 3 of us, and got a small room to ourselves. I did call to first to confirm if rooms were available. I think we were the only party there at first, though there was a private event happening as well. Price was the same as the other karaoke lounge we had visited nearby. There is a 2 hr minimum with $10 minimum purchase of food/drinks for each person. We just got drinks, which were a yummy green grape soju and a lychee yogurt makgoli to split.
The staff were nice and got our drinks pretty quick. One of our mics died so they also helped change that out. Total was around $220 for 2 drinks, 3 bottles of water, and ~2+ hours of karaoke, which wasn't bad. One thing to note is that they don't tell you when the 2 hours are up, not that we noticed, so it would be a good idea to keep track of when you started.
The song menu was pretty good, but we did mostly sing older songs. There were newer songs on the menu though. It was a touch screen panel with actual MVs or something similar for most of the songs. The room had lighting effects like the laser dots and lights. You could definitely hear yourself singing. Bathroom was clean and so was our room. We are definitely planning to come back to try out the food next time as well. We had...
Read moreThis place was outstanding! We just hosted our daughter's 15th birthday here in their largest room. We had 25 people. They were super easy to schedule with and I did it all over email. I hadn't seen the place before but I went to two other places (one in Burbank and one in Arcadia) and both were not great and one smelled like smoke. This place was clean, the song selection was great, the service was outstanding, the food was good, and the staff were all really welcoming. We were able to bring in birthday cakes at no extra charge. They even had a free cotton candy machine in the lobby so the kids took some home as party favors. We would totally go there again. One note is that it's a little hard to find. You enter the parking lot off Duarte Road so you are on the roof of the parking structure and it's right next to Daiso where the old Burlington Coat Factory used to be. It would help if they had a sign on the south side of the building facing the larger parking lot off Naomi so you know that you can access it via the stairs...
