I wasn't even gonna post anything until the waitress came running outside after us when we left because we didn't leave a tip. This is the saddest tofu soup I've ever had, my wife hardly ate. For 3 combos it was $90. I don't know how they can justify the price when everything down to the banchan was just sad and flavorless. Literally had to ask for salt. I know the auntie was a little upset at us for asking. Uncle in the back was pretty rude to everyone coming in, yelling that they close in the next 40 minutes. We only ended up there because the 3 most popular restaurants around the corner were packed. Y'all want business or not? Hate to write a negative review for what seems like a family owned business and the inflation is real but this can't compete with anything in the area plus it's all cheaper for better food. Read moreThe taste of the food here has really fallen! Visited here last weekend and ordered a few staple dishes that we always get but was sadly disappointed.
Assorted tofu soup (mild) combo w/ beef bulgogi ($26) - this was the most disappointing tofu soup. It was super bland, there was no flavor, not even a tiny bit spicy for mild. Bulgogi was very saucy and overly sweet.
Spicy Cold noodle ($16) - was very mushy, no chewy texture. It did have a good spicy flavor.
Small Steamed pork ($18) - was the only dish that was decent.
The service was good. They even brought out crayons for the kids which was nice. The restaurant was clean, but pretty empty while we were here during prime...

I also love their steamed pork belly "saam." It's so good! They have decent "banchan" as well, especially their kim chi. The stone pot rice is delicious, especially pouring in the barley tea to the crusted, savory rice crackling that sticks to the bottom and sides of the stone pot. Most non-Koreans don't know this comfort food secret. Get it next time and eat it at the end of your meal with the broth that forms from it with the...
