Coffee Break Drive Thru & Cafe — Restaurant in Arcata

I am generally pleased with the service from here.... however the past few times I have been in. I noticed I kept getting charged differently for the same exact drink?!?!? Today I was charged the most yet. Soon as I made mention of this, the she tells me that they might not have been charging me for the ice???? Really??? So now they charge for 6oz of ice?!?!! Then she continued on to say they recently raised their prices as well.... but then never even gave me my option for the rewards program. So to say I’m displeased is putting it...

Going there everyday for almost 8 days today the price went up from $5 for a 16 oz latte to 525 and I asked why I was given a very short rude answer that said I don't know it's not my restaurant not my coffee shop I said well it's just a question and it makes sense if I've been coming here every day and again I was told not my coffee shop ma'am then I asked to speak to the manager who said they were in the car in front of me who decided to flip me off and call me a b** not exactly a friendly inviting local spot...

This place is great. The coffee and the service is 1st class. They love my dog yogi and are always quick with a doggie treat or two to satisfy his slobbering face. The coffee break cafe has been part of the little Sunnybrea community for more than 15 years and we all love it. It has quality coffee drinks, smoothies, bagels a outside seating area and free wi-fi.
