KFC — Restaurant in Archbald

I placed my order through the app at 6:33pm for a 7:15pm pickup, & received an email confirmation the order was received. Got to the Eynon, PA location at 7pm, was told they just dropped original and it will be a 15 minute wait, which was fine as I was 15 minutes early. Meanwhile, customers at the counter & drive thru placed orders after mine was placed. Went back inside at 7:15, still waiting. At 7:30 I went to the counter to explain my frustration of waiting for an hour & still no order in hand. Asked employee (who claimed to be the manager) when it will be ready, & received a very nasty "I don't know". Meanwhile, the people that ordered at the counter after my order was placed were also waiting for their food, & were served 1st. I then expressed my frustration at now waiting 45 minutes for my order, & people who placed orders after me were being served their food before we (as well as drive thru customers). Told the supposed manager that it makes no sense to place an order through the app at 6:33, & I'm not leaving the store with my order until 7:45 to which she replies "we don't receive the online orders right away". I then tlreplied how that makes absolutely no sense, received an email at y33 the order was received, & asked what's the point of using the app to place an order, & was given more attitude. When I got home 30 minutes later (yes, I live 30 minutes away), there was mainly wings in our 12 piece bucket!! I will NEVER return to this location as there are plenty of other food options in...

My order was 3 famous bowls, 4 lg mt dews(no ice), lg Mac n cheese, and a lg fry. Simple order. Got to the window and paid, the girl at the window tried to give me just 1 mt dew with ice in it. So I asked for a carrier since I ordered 4 of them n asked that I get them with no ice. I got the food and 4 drinks, asked for a receipt and got an attitude for it. Noticed 1 of 4 drinks still had ice in it, so after waiting for 5 mins for just my receipt, I asked if I could get that drink with no ice, how I ordered 2 previous times. I was the only car in the drive thru, I noticed the screen times were ranging from 54 to 108 minutes. Which is probably why my order kept getting messed up and the girl tried to only give me 1 out of 4 of my drinks at the beginning. So I get everything and get home only to realize that I have no utensils, no napkins, no straws, all famous bowls were half filled, no cheese in 2 out of 3 of them. Fries were cold and soggy. And the receipt had a name for somebody who wasn't even working. The girl at the window and a female manager was all who was there at the time. So to top everything off, these 2 girls are going to get this guy George fired for his drawer being open after his shift, drive thru times being over an hour, and it wouldn't surprise me if this guys drawer comes up short and he ends up getting blamed. The sorriest KFC I've had the displeasure of patronizing, which is saying something, since there is another store nearly as bad less than ten miles away, in Scranton, which previously held that title in my book.

The atmosphere was awful, with the building being old and in poor repair, evidence of water leaks, and dingy lighting, with the audio system endlessly playing the soundtrack of TV infomercials for entertainment.

The real problem with the place, though, was getting the food that I'd ordered. Despite the fact that it was "prime time" (around 6:00 PM) for dinner, not an off-hour, they were out of original recipe breasts, requiring a twenty minute wait. After waiting at least that long, they came out and asked if we'd accept cornbread instead of biscuits, since they were now out of those. After the additional wait for the biscuits, they served me a breast and a wing, but not fresh and hot, as you'd expect after having to wait for it, and it wasn't original recipe. The breading was hard, crunchy, and bland, with very little flavor at all, and not like anything I've had when I've ordered original recipe KFC in the past.
