I was initially leaning toward a 3-star review, but after my experience, it’s definitely 1 star. The atmosphere is cute and inviting, and the menu has a large selection, but that’s where the positives end.

I ordered a veggie wrap with waffle fries. While the wrap was decent, it was overpriced for what was clearly just canned vegetables. The waffle fries were good, but honestly, it’s hard to mess those up. My boyfriend got the barbacoa tacos, which he found to be dry and bland. When he tried to salvage them with salsa, the salsa was bitter and watery.

The total bill of $50 for two meals without alcohol is outrageous considering the quality of the food. To top it all off, about 20 minutes after leaving, I started violently throwing up, and I only had the veggie wrap. I’m not sure how that happened. My guess is cross contamination.

We won’t be returning, and I hope this serves as a warning for others. It’s hard to believe this place will change based off of a google review.

Reply to business: Thank you for taking the time to respond. I should have been more specific with the bill. It was high $40s with the tip because we had good service. As I am writing a review, I think it’s important to tell people the bill will be about $50 for two people without alcohol. Also to emphasize how overpriced it is for canned food (100% the mushrooms were) and tipping the industry standard of 20%. Possibly the restaurant ran out of fresh that day. It happens. A rumor and a warning are quite different in my opinion. I’m sure nobody wants to hear about the details leading up to the vomiting, but it is a crazy coincidence if it was not caused by the food I ate. I do appreciate the offer for the refund, and would like to take it if I have the time to stop by. We will not be eating here again out of fear of becoming sick, so you can pay the free meals forward to a family this...

Waited 25 minutes after being we seated to get a drink order put in (food order put in at same time). Waited another hour and a half for food. Waited 20 minutes after I finished my beer for the waitress to ask if I wanted another. after the second beer order a waitress from another table asked if I wanted another beer, I said yes, then my glass got lost in space(which I also got charged for) Once the food finally came after several tables around us of larger parties that came after us got there food, my regular very easy to make cheese burger tasted like it had a pound of salt on it. There was a party of 4 behind us that had there drinks food(4 full dinners) and bill paid within 25 minutes of sitting down. This place has definitely went down hill since all of the servers/cooks from the beginning left Service is slower than usual, you can tell the girls were just poorly trained. There are maybe two ladies who seem to know whats going on.
