Vallarta's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Archie

EAT HERE. THIS IS A NICE LITTLE HOMETOWN RESTAURANT THAT SERVES MEXICAN 🌯🌮 FOOD! The waitress name is Tia and she's quite pleasant. Two of us had a Super burrito 🌯. I had chicken 🐔 and the other one had ground beef. We both enjoyed our meals. They were $10.95. we have six dollar bowl of cheese sauce with some really nice chips. One of our party also had shrimp wrapped with bacon 🥓. It has rice and beans with it and several helpings. It was $15.95. Big Super burrito covered in length of a serving. The bacon wrapped shrimp with a large round plate. The drinks for $2.75 each and they were never dry. We have found our new favorite Mexican restaurant. It is about the size of a cafe. I have eaten at this restaurant several times and I have to tell you it has the BEST Mexican food ever!!! I lived in Texas for several years and one thing I learned was the best places are hidden in plain site and this one is no exception!! Tucked away on main street in Archie, MO, the restaurant is small, but very cozy, the staff is quick and always kind enough to speak to me in Spanish and at least pretend they understand, and the carnitas are the best I've ever eaten and that includes in Mexico!!!! I tried a margarita yesterday for the first time and while I'm not a drinker, had to order a second because it was just that satisfying! I've not been to another Mexican place since discovering this one....

I live close by outside of town. Used to live in city where restaurants were plentiful. Now I'm here in a small town and gas station attendant said to check out this place. I did and I'm hooked!! My burrito with ground beef was delicious! Large portions, I have plenty leftover for breakfast. The only reason for 4 And not a 5 star was that the chips for salsa weren't as fresh. This won't keep me from ordering again as chips aren't my main squeeze. This could be due to the weather and not expecting usual business in such a small town.
