I ordered the 2 carne asada taco meal and the 4 taquito meal with chicken. What I got was the carne asada taco meal and the tostada/enchilada meal.
The carne asada was so dry I thought it must be leftover from yesterday. If they did cook it today, it was way, way overcooked. Zero flavor. When the man at the drive thru window asked me if I wanted salsa I said Sure, mild if you have it. I’m glad I tasted it before I poured it on the dry taco because it was super hot.
When I opened the bag I could smell the onions. They overtook everything. A good cook should know to go easy on them when they’re strong like that, or chop a different onion. I had to pick off the majority of them but they were really all I could taste.
The tostada was tough to cut through. I had to get out a steak knife. The chicken on it was tender and had decent flavor. My husband ate the enchilada and said the tortilla was tough, but otherwise it was fine.
The beans & rice were as expected. No complaints. I spent $27.29 and am in no hurry to go back. There are far better Mexican food...
Read moreI didn’t get a thing! The dozen roaches in the hallway to the bathrooms raised my concerns, and the dozen more that I saw around the ice cream freezer heightened my awareness further. I looked at the baseboard at the order counter as the girl asked can I help you? There I saw more and hesitated. I turned my head and scrutinized the dining floor around the tables and saw several more roaches. Ewwww, I said no thanks I don’t think I want to eat here and walked out! Worst infestation I’ve seen at a restaurant in years!
Ps: 2 hours later they called the police on me and told me I was forbidden to ever return to their establishment, I guess because of the negative review! Thank you!!! I was never planning to! How did you get your license to run your establishment? If you don’t like the negative review, fix...
Read moreFood is always hot, fresh, and they give you HUGE portions. There is a wait in the drive through, but considering the food is fresh and made to order, it’s well worth the wait. This is our second time here and we’re still happy with it. My husband got the tripa burrito last time and it was a good size and I got the chicken flautas. Today, he got the asada bowl and I got the super fries. Fries are great, husband is raving about the bowl, but the only thing I would change is the chicken. The chicken is very lean, and they definitely don't skimp on the meat, I just wish it had more flavor. It doesn’t have a big seasoning taste to it and in my opinion, that would make it even better. It’s worth the wait! For a large drink, 2 churros, one carne asada bowl, and a half order of super fries...
