Panadería My Sweet Bakery — Restaurant in Arecibo

I recently visited Panadería My Sweet Bakery, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked goods. The variety of pastries, breads, and cakes on display was impressive and mouthwatering.

The staff was okay; as a person from another state, I expected a warmer greeting. I felt the girl who attended to us was too serious. For any restaurant establishment, I expect great hospitality.

I tried the sorullos de maíz and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, which were exceptional. The coffee was great, too.

The bakery itself is cozy and charming, making it a perfect spot for a quick coffee break or a leisurely afternoon treat. Prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of the products. I can’t wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings when I return for another vacation!

I love this place and that is why I always return. They have made a few changes to the dining/eating area. They also added a minimum selection of staples (food & necessities) for purchase. Staff is amazing and attentive. Food, coffee, breakfast, sandwiches and lunches are served generously and hot. Went in this morning for coffee and corn bread. The staff of ladies today left little to be desired. They served two people that were behind me and I had to remind them I was waiting to be served. No apology or acknowledgement of their mistake. I asked for dark coffee and they made it with too much milk. The corn bread was hard and had refrigerator taste. When they finally corrected order I left with a donut and my coffee. The donut was hard as well. No thank you, no apologies. Excellent bakery decorated with the Coca Cola theme. Sweets, sandwiches, and hot lunch is served almost daily. Stopped by My Sweet Bakery and was thoroughly impressed! The atmosphere is really unique—that green wall and the ceiling fan give it a fun, cozy vibe, even with the gaming machines (definitely a unique touch!). The food was excellent. The sandwich I got (the one cut in half) was fresh, hearty, and packed with flavor—a perfect lunch. And the wrapped sandwiches looked great too!
