Yes they are a territory of the US but they might as well be third world. The HR department does not accept declarations of disabilities, even if written by a treating professional, nor do they entertain any accommodations request. One employee ended up leaving the company because she put in for disability to extend her maternity leave, and NUC never filed them.
They offer online masters programs to the US but most applicants don't start because they either have poor record keeping that says they owe 10s of thousands of dollars and treat the student like a criminal instead of researching it, and will only communicate with the applicant in Spanish even though they've indicated that they don't speak it. Even calling their number and hitting the option for English you still end up with a Spanish speaker that asks to have you called back by an English speaker.
