Heatz — Restaurant in Yuma

I got out of work late and the family was craving tacos. Our usual spot was closed so we drove around looking for trucks. Found this gem on 8th street. Seen previously on 32nd st by Vertical Church but never had a chance to try.

It was around late 11ish when we got there and thought he was closing down but he said they were still open and only had carnitas, al pastor and beef cheek left. So I ordered 10 al pastor tacos to try it out. They were sooo good! Kids were scarfing it down, hubie was makin a mess. There salsa was full of flavor and perfectly spicy. Throughout the whole chowdown the tortilla and meat stayed HOT HOT. I looked at them and we all nodded in agreement, time to order more! I ordered 4 more al pastor and 1 of each of the other meats to taste. Carnitas was crispy and had perfect texture. Beef cheek was tender. We also got 7up and Dr Pepper. Everyone was perfectly satisfied. Guy had great customer service, was friendly and answered all my questions. Super chill. Would definitely come here again. Can't wait to try their other menu items.
