â ď¸PLEASE READâ ď¸Awfull, on October 23 2020 which would be the day before I post this. I went here for my uncle's and my birthday. All my family came (there where maybe 28 of us?) My mother planned and called the day before we came to the restaurant. On the phone they said they will prepare the big room and set 3 tables up, and they said each table will have 1 ticket making it 3 so we could split so we dont have to do a big pay over everyone just the ones who are at the table. Well the day we got there my mom explained she was the one that planned and they said "Oh Amy with 28 people?" That confused my mother because...her name isnt Amy but the number of people was correct, so they apologised (I think) and we sat at our tables and it was time to order, we got our food and it was awful.
My food: (Ordered 2 chicken and cheese tacos with Mexican rice) chicken was burnt, so greasy it make the shell soggy, and there was weird little things in the meat at the bottom.
My cousin: Ordered the same as me and got the same results as me.
My dad: (Taco shell bowl with what looked to be a salad in it) The shell was soggy from how watery the salad was, there was no beans or anything good that he was expecting to get, and no meat at all in it.
My uncle: (Ordered some sort of meat burrito with green sauce) He opened the burrito and there was 1 little piece of meat, all the rest was chunks of fat that you would not eat.
My other Uncle: My dad said he ordered something and complained about it but i didn't get much into what it was but he hated what ever he got.
When we got done "eating" my mother went to the front to pay for what she thought was for her table. They said no 1 ticket (meaning they put EVERYONE on 1 ticket and added more on it as a "tip", we planned to tip because we thought we where gonna split tickets.) Since they force added a tip plus everyone's order it almost equalled to $457. Luckily my family helped my mother and gave her the money.
Example
Table 1: 9 people ordered. (My mother would have payed for this table and the ones at the table could go home since she too sat at table 1 with me)
Table 2: 9 or 10 ordered. (Who ever was gonna pay for that table would pay so they could leave.)
Table 3: Same type of rules as table 1 and 2.
P.S : we would have tipped on each table if they...
Read moreA poor experience last night. My wife ordered the taco salad and she said it was the worse she ever had. It had a nice shell but the contents were not what you'd expect. The best way to describe it is a standard dinner salad that was dumped in the shell and then some ground beef thrown in. The lettuce was not cut up well and it had a lot of carrots (some were chunks) and celery in it. Who does that? I've attached a photo of the salad AFTER my wife had picked through and ate what she could. As you can see, most of it is still there and you can see the carrots setting off to the side in a smaller dish. Upon further reflection, we should have sent the taco salad back and got something else but they were busy and would have had a wait. Additionally, we were sat in the area straight back from the door and behind the register and it was EXTREMELY noisy from the kitchen all the time. One more thing to be aware of: if you still decide to go there after this review, be aware that they add 4% to the bill if you pay with a credit card and they do NOT accept Discover. We have been to the Laughlin location before and didn't have a problem with the quality of food there. This was a real bummer and we won't be...
Read moreMy wife and I have been to Casa Serrano Fort Mohave several times and have really enjoyed it. However, today was a totally different story. We first ordered a beer from the server (who, btw, was truly wonderful as always...our favorite). She comes back and says they're out of that brand so we order another brand. She returns and says they're out of that brand too. So, we try ordering a third. Thankfully they did have that one. We order lunch but when the server arrives with our food, she apologizes that they're out of sour cream (which was supposed to be a topping for our enchiladas). My wife asked if she could have a little guacamole instead....the server says we would be charged for it but she'll ask the manager. Manager says no way. We stop on our way out to voice our disappoint and concerns. The manager suddenly exclaims that they do indeed have sour cream. Our server happened to be walking by and heard what he said. She kind of got in his face (good for her!) and says that the sour cream had just then been bought and that we were the couple that was not served any. His attitude was basically...have a nice day but go away. No apology, no discounted lunch....nothing but...
