My experience with this Taco Bell was less than sub-standard. I won't be eating here again.
The Good - The employees were very pleasant, personable, and helpful. The lobby and kitchen area (from my vantage point) were also quite clean and well kept. Don't judge a book by its cover...
The Bad - The trouble started when the food came. One of my items was severely (this is no exaggeration) under weight, as every ingredient was but a fraction of that which is mandated as the mandatory minimum by Taco Bell. Another item did not contain the correct ingredients; there were some that should be there and weren't and some that were there but shouldn't be. Portions of the ingredients in all of my items were stale or not fresh to the point that they should not be served; notably the tortillas, flatbread, and taco shells.
The Ugly - I wish I could say I was an unlucky exception in this instance... however, I was there with a family member and there food was also substandard. Notably, a quesadilla that seemed to have been on the grill for half a second as the cheese had only the slightest hint of being melted. I also hear people at an adjacent table complaining of similar issues.
I've been an employee of Taco Bell for over 5 years and so I do have inside knowledge of how much items should weigh, ingredient allotment/distribution, and freshness standards. I would be willing to give this location a shot at redemption and update my review if I hear things...
Read moreThis Taco Bell usually rocks. This time it was a bit off. It had nothing to do with the service workers though, so don't take me wrong. They were great. What sort of upset me was the fact that this location finally started selling the Mexican Pizza's again. (It's been sold out for the longest time after it made it's return.) Well, after I ordered my Mexican Pizza and a Taco Pack for the fam, I drove straight home so I could enjoy my meal. Needless to say, when I opened my box, I come to find out that the flaky tortilla that is used as the crust wasn't the same kind!!! I basically got served a flat hard taco with sauce. If I wanted a Taco, I would have ordered one for myself. Idk if they just ran out of the regular ingredients, or if they tried to improvise by replacing the crust with a hard shell tostada...lol..but...no...it doesn't work! It just killed the craving I had for the once "yummy" Mexican Pizza. But Taco Bell still rocks for a quick bite to munch....
Read moreJeez I would really like this place to learn how to make a chalupa. I know how they are made and I'm sick of this place. I used to love it but it's gone downhill. No matter how many times I complain I order a chalupa and it's never fried long enough it's soft and not crispy the sour cream is on one end and barely any ingredients in it completely. Some manager better fix this if they want me to fix my review. I'll be waiting.
UPDATE : 2 years later & im officially done! This has become so gross of an establishment & it really makes you wonder how this store has the audacity to keep raising its prices. Everything on the menu is awful. Cold food, stale food, undercooked food. This place should be audited since apparently they are not changing out their line like they are supposed to. I'll never be back & I'll probably never eat at Taco Bell again since I'm traumatized. Lastly I was never contacted by any manager for any of...
