The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, and we were seated promptly upon entrance. I asked if they served smoothies or milkshakes (silly question I know) and they were gracious enough to try, but it tasted like pepto bismol, or at best, bubblegum. I apologised and asked politely to switch it for Dr.Pepper, and the hostess, as well as our waiter seemed visually displeased, but did not decline. Unfortunately, even the soda tasted much too carbonated; I settled anyways, hoping the food would make the visit worthwhile. The menu prices overall are about the same as any other nearby location, perhaps cheaper by little bit, and the portions are large, but the taste and quality of my lo mein was a tad off as if too much soy sauce had been used, giving the noodles a bitter taste. My girlfriend ordered General Tsao's chicken and it was delicious, however. To end my nitpicking rant, I would suggest the servers set cups and plates down gently on the table, as it is often seen as bad etiquette to bang them down in front of guests, however unintentional it may be. Overall our visit was not terrible, and we have had worse experiences on off days at places we've visited more often. This was only our first time here, and we may still yet...
Read moreAt 58 years of age I have never left my hot and sour soup sitting on the table a full bowl I have never wanted to send back my szechuan chicken.. When this restaurant was the red dragon they cared about what they put on the table. The flat noodles are cooked in oil that is old and nasty the noodles are dark Brown and hard. 8.95 is not a lunch special a d dinner portions do not make it better. The egg roll was literally nothing but cabbage that had been thrown in a Spring roll wrap and fried. If you like this type of Chinese food, food on the wall, filthy black hand prints on the walls, No customer svc of any kind, so much sauce you can't taste the meat , what there was of it, then you have not had the experience of even half decent Chinese food should taste like. After spending more than 7 yrs on the road coast to coast I promise you that even China Panda is better than this. Stick with Japanese at the Samurai Steak house if this is the best we have in mohave county. I wish I could leave pics. And I did speak with the Manager who couldn't care less and never even offered to make anything right much less answer whether they used MSG....
Read moreThis used to be my favorite restaurant. Their wonton soup was amazing when I used to come here! I went in for the lunch special today. This was the first time I've eaten here in at least 6 months because of the pandemic. I won't eat here again. This place used to be called Red Dragon. Now it's Great Dragon and its far from great. My egg roll only has cabbage in it so it was extremely bland. They didn't have wonton soup so I got the egg drop which smelled like raw egg yolk when they brought it to the table. I took one taste incase it tasted better than it smelled. It tasted like raw egg yolk. I couldn't eat it. The angel was so strong I had to push it to the end of the table because the smell was making me feel like I was going to vomit. I ordered chicken with vegetables. It didn't taste as good s it used to. The middle of the plate was warm but the rest was cold. Some of the veggies had black or brown spots, I don't think they were fresh. I'm so sad. There goes another...
