La Michoacana Munchies & More — Restaurant in Arizona

I ordered 1 medium mango raspado with 2 scoops ice cream and lechera. 1 Large pineapple and strawberry raspado with 2 scoops ice cream and lechera, and their Dubai Chocolate Strawberries.

As she is handing me the two drinks she’s just says “bye have a nice day.” I said oh I think I am missing one more (the strawberries). She’s like no. I said yea, and started to grab my receipt. Then a guy comes to the window and says no you only ordered two drinks. I said yea but, and he cut me off and said can I see your receipt. I show him, and he said oh ok the strawberries, and the girl gave me a dirty look and said so just strawberries. I also noticed both drinks they gave me looked identical. I tried to ask, which was which, and if both had the second scoop of ice scream. She kinda rolled her eyes and said just kept saying yea to each of my questions “this is mango and strawberry/pinappple” and “there are two scoops?” I kept just getting told yea.

So of course, I got home and both are a medium, strawberry/pineapple only 1 scoop.

And they kept my receipt.

But it was just annoying that I paid extra for ice cream, extra for a large, and ordered a totally different flavor. I tried to be nice and I gave a 20% tip. I paid 38...

Portions and freshness need to stay consistent, especially for the price. We suspect that at least the drinks we’ve had were pre-made for the day. We've been here twice we've had 3 different drinks & LOVE the tosti elote even though the corn is more hominy style. (Keep it loaded guys!)

• The large strawberries and cream didn’t have freezer taste, the ice cream on top was tasty and felt like they used a whole carton of strawberries! (Yum) The LARGE Macedonia was STACKED with pecans and fresh coconut shavings, and the texture was balanced and cold without being too icy.

When I ordered a MEDIUM Macedonia, the toppings were noticeably LESS. It was more juicy and melted, and the slush was and melded together in a big chunk. It seemed like it had been frozen and defrosted a little too much.

We haven’t tasted any freezer-burned or stale fruit in anything. But there’s a clear difference between drinks that feel freshly prepared and ones that don’t, and we’ve noticed it.

Very bad service. I ordered the nachos cause they had meat on top according to the picture in their menu (since there’s ZERO descriptions, just pictures lol). I paid $10 for that crap just to be handed stale nacho chips with watered down cheese and NO meat. I immediately asked for a refund.

Their menu has NO prices which is illegal. How about use some permanent BLACK marker?

The pico de gallo was nasty. It had premature mangos and Orange slices WITH the peal on LMAO!! With the peal ON!! How the hell am I supposed to eat the orange peal? Come on, people.

Why open a business if you don’t care?!

The “limonada” was nasty. Tasted like straight up water mixed with a mountain of sugar. It tasted like everything BUT lemonade lol.

Guys, I’m not trying to be mean, but get your crap together or go out of business.
